MAJOR UPDATE: this building had a live shooting in it! and the people STILL live there!!! this place is EXTREMELY dangerous to live at! watch your children around the crazy predators who live here!!! they SHOT a man who had to be rushed to the ER and the crazy people STILL live here. They are extreme disturbances to the community and threaten to harm you when confronted. The front desk does nothing about it and tells residents to "call the cops, we can't stop them". this is a violation to all of our safety! they hired "security" but they just hang out together and smoke around the side of the building all shift.
the absolute worst place to live. for anyone who views this place, the majority of features they show you will NOT ever be allowed to be used. the building is currently rotting, ceilings caving in from a massive leak. the pool has been closed for the entire summer and will not reopen so do not believe in them saying there is a pool. i will continue to update this post with all the awful things that happen here and i am currently in contact with the louisville tenant union about getting people out of leases. RUN away from this place before it collapses on you.
*Edit one; added photo of the ceiling in the lobby. they have closed off the area to view it so people don't see it coming in - but it's there.
*Edit two; "luxury" apartment my ass. Only one of two elevators have been working for OVER TEO WEEKS! and you can see the caving on ceiling in the background. Sometimes it takes over 5 minutes for an elevator to arrive. Some people in the building have to wait even longer because the elevator ends up so full, that wheelchair users can't get on.
edit 3; instead of fixing mold, they paint right over it. the wall is peeling off and crumbling all over the floor. the mold was coming out of the air vent, so i can only imagine what poisons all of us residents are breathing in. There are no form of exhaust fans in any of the apartments. My bathroom started to smell horrifically like mildew after I started to close the door after a shower (the warm shower was making my apartment hot) and my bedroom constantly smells + feels "wet" due to how moist the air is here. Even with the AC running all year my apartment is never...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DO NOT BOOK COZY SUITES. See photos of broken glass and when we had to inventory all the stuff in the middle of the lobby!! I came here to visit my brother and his colleagues while they were here on business. They had so many issues that by the end of the trip, they moved over to my hotel. The (lack of) cleanliness was unacceptable, my daughter picked up a razor blade from the windowsill!!! The water was shut off for over 10 hours the next day. Then, management did not let them know theyâd be painting the hallway (with no ventilation); the fumes were unbearable and when they went to open the window, the glass shattered!!! A member of the party cut up his hand and they finally moved them onto another floor after an awful two days. All customer service said was âyou should have gotten an email about the water shut off and we didnât know about the painting?!? YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE LET PEOPLE BOOK THAT FLOOR OR THOSE DATES. After they moved them to another room, they arrived after a whole day out WITH THEIR STUFF GONE! My niece was terrified because she thought they had been robbed!! Turns out, the owner who remotely manages from Tennessee was sick of the (VERY REASONABLE) complaints and just assumed they had done all that damage when it was in fact, awful property conditions. On top of all the accusations and the terribly hostile service, they finally gave my brother and his colleagues a refund. The very least they could do. THIS IS NOT NORMAL, you do not call your maintenance staff to pack up a whole familyâs belongings without contacting them and then hide it in the storage. And you donât treat people like dirt just because you canât make the time to actually vet your tenants. It just shows that the low rates=low value experience. God forbid, you travel...
Read moreApartment is wonderful but high turnover in staff. Pool was only open for a month this summer. Property manager is a bully. If he doesnât want to communicate, he gets the new assistant leasing agent to respond. Nice person but he just doesnât understand how things used to be here. Responses are usually in AI. The photos on the website donât show how the pool area looks now. They took all the tables and chairs that were beside the building and put them in the pool area. I offered to buy two picnic tables since I was told the tables and chairs were not coming down beside the building anymore. I was flatly told, âno.â So now tenants have no place to congregate and chat outdoors, especially if they want to bring their dogs with them. They keep making new rules. âNo dogs allowed to use the front doorâ and âno congregating in the lobby.â I keep wondering what the next new rule will be. Itâs so stressful. So many long time tenants have left and all of the long time staff have left except for a few very nice maintenance professionals. Itâs taking them forever to renovate the building since Fannie Mae now owns the building and every single improvement has to go through them. Thatâs the government bureaucracy. The AirBnBs are the worse. We used to have short term rentals for students and business people and that is gone. I hope I live long enough for the building to be completely renovated and sold and a better property management company takes over. Itâs such a shame because this used to be such a friendly place to live with the previous property management company. They would never have told me that I couldnât do something nice and buy some picnic tables for all the tenants to enjoy. That just didnât make any...
