I was in extreme pain with a kidney infection and when I pulled through the drive though Pharmacy, I was told if I waited for the medication it would be 30 minutes, I explained I would go have lunch and return. I returned two hours later and another younger African American man explained with attitude that it still was not ready and āI donāt know who told you that but thatās not trueā. He then went to talk to someone and said that I could wait in the drive through and they would get it ready. He rang out my prescription minutes later and I went home. Once I arrived home I immediately went to take the medication and realized before I poured out a tablet that it was NOT my prescription. Not only not the same name or even close but also not the same medication. He did not verify that I was the correct patient by date of birth or address. I had to then return again and get my correct prescription and they did not offer to refund me for the first one I purchased out of pocket. They were extremely rude, did not grab a pharmacist or Pharmacy manager not once. I started as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens and our customer service with patients was always phenomenal and helpful and generally, I have been in this field for years with different Pharmacies and I could never imagine being so careless in a position in which Iām accountable for important medications and our patients. I was home alone with my toddler, God forbid I just started taking the pills and I was allergic or it was something that could have killed me. This needs to be addressed immediately. I was extremely upset on to of the unbearable pain I am in. I will never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called this pharmacy to make sure they had my medicine in stock. I was assured they had plenty of the generic and name brand. My doctor sent in the prescription within 30 mins of me speaking to their pharmacist. I go in to pick up my prescription and am told it would be ready later that night. It wasn't... The next day, I get a notification my medicine is delayed because it is out of stock. I called to see if they could fill the prescription with the name brand. I'm now told they have neither in stock and don't know when they will have it and that I "should have called first to see if it was in stock," which I clearly did. The pharmacy tech on the phone was rude and dismissive in word choice and tone. After waiting on hold for 1 hour 12 minutes, this is how I am treated even when I was patient and kind with them. I have never been treated so rudely by a pharmacy, especially when they are the one's at fault and I did what I was supposed to do. What's the point in having this pharmacy if they can't even perform their basic job...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pharmacy tech gal, long dark hair, glasses, Asian looking face needs to learn how to do better customer service. I was there to get medicine for my son. When she handed me the meds she never asked whether I have any questions about it. She left the window immediately while I had some questions. Presses the button 2x, got ignored. Went insdie. Same girl didn't even acknowledge, so I said I have questions. She just pointed out with her chin to come to next window. I asked about inhaler. She said it'll be ready tomorrow. It would be nice had she informed me about it when handing tge medicine 1st time. I asked about what are these meds & just said both steroids without even moved away from her station & again not asking me whether I have concerns or questions. Rude. Unprofessional. Unkind. There's only me in DT until next car pulling behind me & nobody...
