Dollar Tree — Local services in Louisville

The new updated Dollar Trees have better products to offer but the price is $1.25 or 3 to $5 for the specialty items. They have begun to organize the aisles with signage and better organization per Shelf with better quality items being offered. The checkout staff is more friendly and quicker at the register. You cannot take the large buggies outside and some of the locations do not offer the hand baskets to carry around. I have been in Dollar Trees where if you took a cart and it did not have the pole restricting access to outside you would have to put a quarter into the chain to release it so you would return the buggy to get...

Today was the first time I went through Ashley’s check out at the Taylorsville Road Dollar Tree Store. I just want everyone to know she is so very kind and so very helpful! I saw her go out of her way to get something for the customer in line in front of me and then she did the same thing for me! I was looking for a certain item, didn’t see it but she knew exactly where it was and got it for me! This is my 'local' Dollar Tree. It isn't as big as some of the other stores in Louisville but it's pretty well maintained and stocked. I'd give it a higher rating except the staffing is kind of inconsistent. By that I mean not only in terms of how many employees are there at a time, or how many check out lanes are open when it gets crowded but also the friendliness and manners of the employees.
