Waffle House — Restaurant in Louisville

When I came in it was pretty busy they were still doing orders from the other shift I was told to come and sit down join everyone else who were waiting for their orders. One family sitting behind me decided to leave they said that they had been waiting for twenty minutes and decided to go to Denny's and told me I should too. I left out went to my car but decided to come back in when I did the lady she could have been the manager said I will be right with you after a few minutes she came over to the booth I was sitting at and took my order. While I was sitting there I continue to watch the other customers get their long awaited food and eat it with satisfaction of course one man who was sitting on the bar stool section started coughing and some of his food came in my direction which was disturbing but other than that I listened to the music that was playing and waited patiently for my order of food which to my surprise came sooner than I thought. The Cooks there worked very hard to get the food orders fulfilled and when everyone got their food it was worth the wait even my food. And that's all I have to say about that in my Forrest...

First off.... I was not expecting to walk into a waffle house and receive the best service of my life. I mean, I was just blown away. Forgive me, I'm bad with names...ill call them Sanford & Son.. the cook,(the O.G. master Jedi) was so tired, but you knew he loved to cook.. because he went into Gordon Ramsay mode, the second he saw me walk in. Over easy eggs were flawless. Ok, now my server...dude had the appearance of someone who has experienced life and at such a young age. But you could never have expected someone so genuine, kind and respectful. I felt very safe with these two gentlemen.. these two had the waffle house fully managed and in order.. I am a filmmaker and I have met many people in many different ways of life, so I never look at anyone or anything and expect anything than what they show ME. These men... They showed me what true talent is.. what passion for people and life is. Mad respect .. I will be coming back to this waffle house..I might even ask these two gentlemen to play a role in my next TV series. Thank you Master Jedi and...

Okay so I gave this place a 2 not because of the food or the staff they were excellent and the food is really good too they finally got my eggs just right normally they overcook them some but that's probably the way I order them I just haven't figured away to tell them I want it cooked with no it's not on top but I want it all the way dippy it usually comes out with the yoke somewhat cooked but this time they actually got it 100% right but I gave it a 2 because I found out that the waitress who's been there for years was making $6 an hour but when it went corporate her salary was decreased to 2 something an hour. How did the company just decrease somebody's hourly pay who's been there for years who is a good employee. The friend I went with said our waitress is the only one who's been consistently there since he started going years ago that's not a way to award a hard-working staff member makes me not even want to put my money into waffle House knowing that those corporate people are so money hungry.
