While waiting in line the cashier gives my daughter a toy that apparently the customer ahead of us purchased and didn't want. The cashier explains 3-4 times say thank you can you tell her thank you look at this woman and say thank you. Strike 1 Another cashier opens up so I switch lines. The rude cashier explains the toy my daughter is playing with has already been purchased by this lady. I think to myself good crisis averted, the rude cashier is no longer my problem. Nope! She looks at me and says oh when are you do. I didn't even realize you were pregnant when you were standing here. To appease this rather mouthy cashier I reply any day now. She yells with a barbaric tone, God you're huge. Strike 2. Then she follows up with do you know what you're having? I of course don't answer. Then she leans over to my side of the counter where I am signing my receipt and asks again. As if I didn't hear her the first time and mind you she is still ringing up another customer but carrying on this poor customer service with me. Then she looks at my daughter and says what are you having a brother or sister? Strike 3. Then as we leave she screams bye to my daughter and waves until my daughter waves back. I hit the red button twice on the way out and call the store to speak with a manager. This is the conversation verbatim Goodwill hikes lane May I speak with a manager Who
I just hang up. Yeah not going back...
Read moreOne would think that Goodwills would be the same no matter where you were in the country however that is not true. There are regional differences just as there are regional differences in selection of items. This one is large and had a good selection of different things to buy. But as with any thrift store you never know what you're going to find. My friend found a wonderful stuff toy that he'd been looking for and I found two folding camping tables which I really have been looking for. The prices for most things are very reasonable although there are a few things that were way overpriced. You would think by now people would understand that Greenbrier International automatically means the Dollar tree. And that things from there are generally only a dollar and a quarter. However sometimes people see Dollar tree things and think they're worth more and price them that way and so they end up costing more than they should. Anyway pricing people at thrift stores...
Read moreI should give this store a minus 5 stars. I've been going to this store for years and have never had an employee act in such a rude and dangerous manner. I was a good 7 feet away from the back door to the back area and I was trying to move but it was very crowded and being disabled I can't move that fast. A guy came out yelling at me in a loud and hateful manner "you can't block my door" He then grabbed my cart and started to move it, while still yelling at me. I grabbed my cart because my cane and oxygen were in the cart. After I moved he continued to yell. About 4 minutes later he ran into my friend who is disabled and almost knocked her down and then ran into her again hitting her foot and ankle and didn't even apologize. Prices are not good enough to put up with this...
