I’m not going to go into the amount of sheer horror this pharmacy has caused in our lives. They’ve DELETED prescriptions, they’ve NOT GIVEN THE CORRECT AMOUNT of MEDICINE, (half what I was prescribed for the month) they’ve been nasty and rude, and the list goes on. It’s hard for me to leave one star when a lot of the techs are very kind. The problem is, THEY DO NOT STICK AROUND! Seems like a new tech every time. The worst part is, I’m prescribed the SAME MEDICATION EVERY MONTH, AND THEY NEVER HAVE IT IN STOCK. It’s a constant battle. I don’t want to sound insensitive but I have no other way to identify her— the Indian pharmacist there is one of my biggest nightmares. She’s responsible for 75% or more of what I’ve said. She has time to call and push a medication she needs to sell, but she doesn’t have time to order my medication? I’m not joking— at one point she was calling me 5-10 times per month. DURING COVID. They finally hire a new manager and decide to go back to the old hours. That lasted maybe 6 weeks before they were closing at 6 again. I doubt it’s her fault, but it’s disappointing to say the least. She’s actually really sweet, so hopefully things will change and I can give some more stars. The last straw was going in for the covid booster. The pharmacist I spoke of that isn’t the manager was who I had to deal with. I won’t go into it, but she gave me a really hard time for LITERALLY NO REASON. I still ended up with my shot, and for what? Because she wanted to give me medical advice? I don’t understand the need for that, when I get enough advice FROM MY DOCTORS. This is so much longer than I wanted it to be, but Walgreens has made my life so much more stressful when I’m already dealing with chronic illnesses every day. Lastly- if you’re asking yourself “WHY?!” Why do I go back?! Because I signed a “contract” with my doctor's office, categorically denying me the ability to use ANY OTHER PHARMACY. So nope, I can’t fill down the road at any other ones. I had to choose between them and CVS over by KFC, and shockingly, this pharmacy is the lesser evil of the two. Just stay away. And stay away from McMahon Kroger...
Read moreEmployee did not keep a professional.tone when ringing me up. The employees that were on staff at the time did not know anything about the products I was purchasing so I had to spend a long time trying to compare and contrast these products. The beautician didn't arrive for another 3 hours.
I do expect to be treated with respect and to be approached by professional employees when I am shopping. Nobody approached me to ask if I needed any help and was shopping for nearly 45 minutes due to not having any help from the beautician. Due to the mannerism, I will most likely steer clear from this Walgreens store when shopping and go across the street to Rite Aid or another store close by.
The item that I decided not to get, I accidentally left it in the floor near where it belongs. It goes on the very bottom shelf and was the last one there. I did not do this intentionally at all.
As I was leaving the store- I stopped at my car and unopened a product that I had just purchased and wanted to dispose of my trash. I walked up near the front of the store to throw it in the trash right outside and due to their front sliding door being open for some reason I could hear the employee being unprofessional in front of other customers about how I left my product on the floor. She was ranting about how I did something that she didn't approve of. I found this to be very unprofessional and I believe she should have kept her composure- especially in front of customers. I said, "sorry" as I walked back to my car.
In addition, one of the advertisement racks fell off the wall on me so I gently picked it up and set it on the side for someone to...
Read moreWARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS WALGREENS!!!
The absolute rudest pharmacy and photo department staff. Both of these departments send alerts that your orders are ready when they are not. You then wait 15-45 minutes at the pharmacy pickup and 5-15 minutes at the photo department - only to be told they are not ready. This has been constant in my 8 years of living next to this walgreens. They can't keep staff, and the staff that work there are TERRIBLE.
When you receive surgery and need your antibiotics, blood clot aspirin, and pain meds... don't expect this pharmacy to have your medicine ready for days. And expect the order to say it's ready (each med you're picking up) when it's not. I came back three times in one day last month. The rude and apathetic pharm staff member at the window told me to wait twenty minutes, then an hour, then the afternoon. Each revisit, the meds weren't ready. Finally, she told me they couldn't refill it and blamed it on the pharmacist. This place is messing with important and lifesaving medicine. This has been an ongoing problem and one that needs to be inspected!
Every visit to the photo department, the printers are broken (so they say why the order isn't ready - even when other orders of my order at the same time are ready). The passport machine is never working. The upload your own prints device is never working. It is simply a hot mess!
It's fifteen minutes to the next walgreens, and I'm willing to drive there - as I am sick and tired of giving this...
