Horrendous customer service! My fiancé purchased a suit to order on 2/1 for a wedding that he is in. On 3/5, he had still not heard from Men’s Warehouse so he called them just to find out that no one ever ordered the suit. He was told to come back in with a credit card and receipt so they can refund and recharge him. I went out of my way to go in to complete this on his behalf, just to be told by the “manager”, Pam, that they didn’t need us to come in and that they had ordered it on 3/6- with only standard shipping, not even expedited. Pam seemed sincere and apologetic, I expressed my frustrations and asked what she is going to do to make this right since this suit should have already been tailored and ready for the wedding. Pam explained that she couldn’t offer a discount or partial refund at that time since the suit was in transit, but she promised she’d take care of us when it came in because “stuff like that doesn’t happen in her house”. Suit comes in and my fiancé gets a call that it is ready on Tuesday 3/11. I go to pick it up myself on Wednesday 3/12, the man who greeted me was kind, but the woman who hastily came out of the office to take over, I’m assuming this was Lisa, she was less than friendly and continued to give me the same excuse that “the presale was not completed”- in other words, the teenager who assisted my fiancé and his friend 2/1 just didn’t order the suit! She also said the suit had come in last week 3/7, but no one properly received it in the system delaying it further. This woman also informed me that she didn’t know why Pam told me she could give me any money back because they can’t. She was unapologetic and full of excuses. For some reason, she thought we’d return for tailoring! I informed her we would not be back to Men’s Warehouse, ever. $455 spent on a suit for it never to be ordered. 39 days later, we finally have the suit and absolutely nothing was done to make it right! The store would have never known about the suit not being ordered, had we not followed up. They do not make things right with their customers, whatsoever. Terrible customer service and completely unprofessional. STAY AWAY FROM ALL MENS WAREHOUSES!!! They don’t make wedding planning...
Read moreI came here with one of my groomsmen several months ago to be fitted for rentals for my wedding. The woman who worked with us, repeatedly told me I was the smallest guy she had ever sized. It didn't hurt my feelings, but I thought it was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She then told my friend who is on the heavy side, that he'd "been eating too many mashed potatoes." What!? Who says that to a client? We had already been in the store for an hour at this point, and leaving to find another suit rental store was not an option. Fast forward to four days before the wedding, my friend stopped in to get his suit and found that the pants were nowhere near his size. He told me that the staff, including the store manager, didn't seem to care about this problem and told him they MIGHT be able to rush the correct size to the store before the wedding. He would still have to pay full price for the cost of the rental despite their screw-up. Instead, he took a small partial refund and had to buy pants in his size from a different company. The refund didn't even cover half of the purchase price of the new pants. My suit came in the following day, three days before the wedding. I briefly tried it on infront of the same woman who fitted me. She said it looked great. I assumed someone working in that industry would know how a suit is supposed to fit and took her word for it. Big mistake, I should have spent more time scrutinizing the suit in the mirror at the store before walking out. The morning of my wedding, I looked at myself in the mirror and realized the pants were too baggy and did not have belt loops, and that the jacket was comically long. I ended up wearing my own suit at the wedding, which did not match with my groomsmen. I basically gave Men's Wearhouse a donation because I didn't wear a single piece of the rental collection. This location is completely incompetent. The whole experience was unprofessional from beginning to end. My other groomsmen got thier suits from other locations and seemed to have better experiences. I also wish you could rent only the pieces you need, because I had my own shoes, socks, tie, and...
Read moreWe ordered from 2 locations ....outerloop and Shelbyville road location, and we didn't have a good experience with either. The first lady we had that fitted my husband at the Shelbyville location and helped us pick out colors for the groomsmen was amazing and helpful....but unfortunately all the issues started after that first great encounter and all 6 groomsmen and my son had something wrong with their tux ...my son's button appeared to be loose when we picked his suit up, when I asked about it they told me it was normal and was ok...an hour before my wedding I had to sew my son's button back on because it broke off so easily.....then my brother picked his tux up from the location near outerloop and everything was wrong from the size, to the fit....they told him to come back on the day of my wedding and they would have it fixed....so he missed out on our photos prior to the wedding because they messed up on his suit and couldn't fix it in time....his shirt also didn't fit and they said there wasnt much they could do about it and he would just have to deal with it...our other groomsmen had issues too but these were a couple of the biggest issues.....I will never use this company again for a major event....it was too stressful. When I asked for a some of my money to be reimbursed due to the inconvenience of my brother missing out on some of my wedding activities due to their mishandling of his suit and fitting, I was given some attitude over it and told no. I will never use this...
