This review is for the Westport Road Michaels. I went in there to purchase white taper candles today around 6:30pm. I asked two different associates if they had any hurricane globes. The first one (lady with dark brown hair) said look in aisle 102. It was just glass vases not anything to do with candles. The second one (rainbow colored hair) I asked simply said if you don't see them then we probably don't have them. She proceeded to ring up the two boxes of candles. They rang up $15.99; but on the shelf the sticker said they were $12.99. I asked her about that & she informed me they were still adjusting shelves. I said I understood that, but you have to honour the displayed price. I explained I buy products from them quite frquently due to my job. So I know you are supposed to honour a displayed price. She couldn't figure out how to adjust the price. She asked one lady that was walking behind her & that lady said she had to leave. She radioed the lady (brown hair) that I'd asked for help earlier. That one came up & told her the price is whatever rings up. Again I said you're supposed to honour the displayed pricing on shelf. She got sharp & said the price is whats rang up. So I said ok you can keep them & I'll report this to corporate to take care of. I will never go back to that store. Honestly this situation is the example of price gouging. This situation could have been avoided so easily by them simply being better at customer service. Purely poor business on their part. I had to click a star to post this. Their form of customer service doesn't even deserve one star....
Read moreI brought a crocheted tapestry that my elderly grandma made for my wedding. They were able to get it done in time, for a whopping $251.38. When I brought it home, I noticed that there was a spill on the mat bear the bottom of my tapestry, and a small dark sport on my tapestry, showing someone spilled something on it. Also, the mat wasn’t wide enough to they cut it, put a little sliver next to it, then added more. I was horrified to display it at my wedding but had no choice.
I complained and the manager was horrified and said they would fix it, bring it back after my wedding. I did, and they special ordered a large enough mat (ummmm, this is CUSTOM FRAMING, that should have been done the first time). I was given no answers for the spillage.
I just picked up and the mat work is beautiful. But it appears they attempted to clean the tapestry, only making it worst, no I have a round circle of discoloration. This isn’t something my grandma can re make.
They did refund my money, and that was a nice gesture, but they ruined the tapestry. The only thing I have handmade from my grandmother and not it’s discolored and framed.

Read moreI am very displeased with my experience at this store today. First of all there was a line almost to the back of the store with only 2 cashiers to ring. Then after waiting in line for over 1/2 an hour I was told the coupon I was going to use was not valid on the picture frame I was purchasing. Now don't get me wrong, I understand there has to be exclusions but no where on this frame nor the shelf around it did it indicate it was an "everyday value" and therefore excluded. The cashier had me wait while she looked it up in the system to find out (so obviously not marked). I told her I no longer wanted it and paid for my other items only to get to my car and realize she kept my coupon! I am not at all happy with my experience. If you need to exclude items that is fine I completely understand, but please mark them clearly. I was told I could have got the same frame with the coupon if I had the single one instead of the 2 pack. There would have only been a $0.50 difference in price and I would have been just fine with that, however there was no way I was going to go back to the end of the linewin order...
