I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years. My husband and I know our favorites and usually order similar dishes each time. Our favorites are the spicy sashimi salad, shrimp tempura, and a few sushi rolls. The food is always delicious and makes for a great weekend treat after work.

Some reviewers have commented on the quality of the sushi. It’s not at the Michelin-star level, but the quality is very good for the price. I also appreciate the variety of rolls on the menu. To be fair, I’ve noticed some subtle changes in the food over the years since we come here often. Occasionally, they add fewer greens or serve sashimi and tempura at inconsistent temperatures. However, these small inconsistencies are forgivable—many restaurants in the area face similar issues. This doesn’t discourage me from returning.

I’ve included a picture of our favorite rolls. If you decide to visit, I recommend trying the Pink Lady, Halloween, and Dynamite rolls.

Jay, the owner, is always kind and accommodating—he even chills our soju in his freezer for us. If you have a special request or concern, he listens and does his best to help.

As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is over 20 years old. Jay has done some partial renovations, and while the décor still looks a bit dated, it remains clean and...

Suuuuuuper solid! If you're near on the main line I would definitely recommend swinging by to grab some sushi and enjoying it in a park.

One of the only places around that offers Hwe Dup Bap which is easily one of my favorite Korean dishes. The dressing for the salad was ON POINT! I would buy bottles of it if I could. Maybe I can. The rice was cooked perfectly. The rolls were fun! I tried a fermented plum and mint roll, and that was surprisingly delicious. I didn't really know what to expect but it was great. I would absolutely recommend the Bryn Mawr roll and the Halloween roll!

I also got miso soup, a side salad and some fried calamari. A little sad because by the time I got home some of the sushi was not as cold as I would've liked and the calamari was a little soft. I totally understand that's a time thing and a container thing. It was still really tasty.

The inside of the restaurant was cute and homey. The staff was all super friendly and greeted me when I came in for my order a little early. I asked about the hats they wear because they're 🔥🔥🔥 and they sold me one. I'm pretty excited to wear it around.

TLDR: This place is really worth it. Great food. Great...

So it’s Tuesday night, 7:45 pm and my first choice for sushi is closed. I search for sushi and see that this place has good reviews and their rolls/ menu seems pretty good. I order a spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and a “spice girls” roll. I figure the spicy rolls are a safe bet. I go pick up my order, pay the 26$ only to get home to the sloppiest rolls I have ever purchased. The end rolls didn’t even have stuff in them. Not to mention, the 13$ roll wasn’t even cut all the way through so it would fall apart when i tried to forcefully separate them. The 13$ spice girls roll is advertised to have “spicy sauce” on top which was really just straight up sriracha. My biggest regret is not taking a picture right away to show the quality of the other 2 rolls I purchased. Needless to say, I will not be back ever again. Do not waste your money here. Thanks for the terrible...
