I came here expecting a pawn shop experience. Boy was I wrong! This is a family run business. I met both the owner and her daughter. They were both very nice and knew where everything was. I was immediately overwhelmed by the sheer amount of STUFF inside! I would say at least HALF of the stuff in there should be thrown out or donated. They do have an impressive collection of collectibles. They are priced as collectibles, which means you can't just walk in and buy something on a whim. I think they need to put some work to bring the Barn Attic up with the times. Overall, it is a very unique and lovely place. This is the place to go if you're looking to replace a specific item (for example one of your correlle plates broke and you need it to complete the set). Some things in here you could just purchase for the same price for retail. This is really the place to go for items no longer being sold in retail. I love it here!! The owner is a caring person. She knows the origin of a lot of the items in there, despite there being thousands upon thousands. There is a lot of stuff in there, and it's packed, but still navigable. She has a cool variety of clothing and accessories, magazines (especially Nat Geo, and for 10 cents each!!), advertising, trinkets, furniture, notecards, and collectibles. They also have a bin of free things outside. The hours vary, and they aren't open on Sundays, so it's best to look for the open flag or call ahead, especially at very hot times of the year when they are open less frequently as it gets a bit humid inside. Eclectic mix of collectables, vintage clothing, furniture and hard-to-find items. The owner can pretty much find it if you know what you’re looking for. There’s a story with every item and there are millions if not billions of items in this place. It’s always a pleasure to visit! This time we brought the youngest in the family (14yo) to shop with her birthday money. She had a blast. The owner and their employee was so patient and friendly and made it a great time for all in our party.
