So firstly I saw the fitting rooms were closed, so I ask an associate that was coming towards me if they allowed fitting. As each department has their own policy that can change during all this. She right away cuts me off "Someone will open it for you!" as if she completely cannot have her precious time interrupted by the customer, the major asset of any retail job providing service for. When it was an hour to close, there was barely anyone else besides me. No one comes and I decide to check out thinking everything should fit but OK, that was my decision. There were atleast 2-3 other associates but guess who was on register - that same associate, old lady with greyish hair Amanda. They have a free rewards program like most other places but then there's a Dsg credit rewards program which is a credit account with minimum monthly payments. She asks about me joining which I asked if there are monthly fees/payments to which she responds "No it's just like a Giant Eagle card." I was previously thinking if they had that type of thing since I like sports clothes, so ok sure. But then she asks if I want to join credit rewards. I wasn't sure if this was a different program so she says she'll look for a policy brochure while I do the pinpad prompts. Comes back and just says my total. I ask about the brochure, she looks again, or acts like she does but there was a slip about the Dsg rewards so I just take that and checkout. The credit rewards which I enrolled in processes a credit inquiry and has minimum payments. There was NO MENTION or slightest indication of the like. I return and tell her. She gives me a number which is for Synchrony Bank. They cancel the registration but say it was completed as a credit inquiry for the burea. That night I get a notification that my score has changed because of that one inquiry. Can you imagine out of all places a CLOTHING STORE screws your credit. Doesn't matter if its 1-2 points. Not so much the company but a worker unless they train everyone to do the same. Believe I loved Sporting goods especially at Legacy but these types of people or practices is what stain a company's image and customers' view of them.
(Keep all that in your knowledge if you get Amanda or anyone else being the...
Read moreMy husband recently ordered some activewear through DICK'S Sporting Goods online. He decided to pickup our online purchase at the Legacy Village location. When we arrived to the store, I don't think we even made it ten steps inside the store before we were approach by a Dick's associate asking if we needed assistance with a pickup or finding something. I informed the Dick's associate that we were picking up and he immediatedly got the necessary info from us and went to retreive the order.
My husband then decided to look around for more activewear while the associate located our online order. While my husband was searching for more items in the men's department, I went on an exploration journey in the massive two floor showroom of mesmerizing awesomeness (coming from a chic who cares nothing about sports). I was extremely impressed with the wide range of merchandise Dick's offers. They even sell fishing licenses ($10 Seniors, $19 Ohioans).
Unfortunately, my husband brought my exploration to a halt when he summoned me to meet him at the register (Awww Mannn!). I had fun just exploring the store; the store associates were courteous, helpful and friendly; the store was clean and well-organized; and the prices were reasonable (especially in the clearance sections).
In addition to our pickup, my husband and I made another purchase to end our visit to Dick's Sporting Good. Overall, we had a great experience during our...
Read morecame to this location on 8.24.19 at approximately 5:40pm to get soccer cleats for my son. We were never greeted as we walked past 2 employees. Waited 13 minutes in the cleats section & no one came. There were 2 other customers waiting as well. Walked back to the register to find someone to help. Was told a young lady with braids will assist us. When I got back to the cleat section, i greeted the young lady. She said what do I need? I told her what was needed. She came back out with the cleats, sat them down on the seat & walked off. Didn’t open the box, didn’t even be bothered to the fact if my son can fit the cleats or not. He even noticed her rudeness. The gentleman that checked me out was nice & helpful! Based on the experience alone with the rude young lady, I will only go to the Bainbridge location. I hope someone has a talk with the young lady! She wasn’t wearing a name tag so I have no clue what...
