Beware!!!!!! I dropped off at minimum 20 pairs of shoes and was told by the manager that they probably couldn’t take most of them, and I distinctly recall her singling out a pair of booties and telling me she could sell those. I received a text message the following day that my order was complete. When I returned to the store I was told that they could not be sold because they were more “mature women” 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Again, based on my conversation with the manager the day before I understood that they may not accept some of my shoes. The Sales Associate then proceeded to give me 14 pairs of shoes. (keep in mind I gave them at minimum 20, I’m pretty sure it was perhaps 22). When I inquired about the remaining six shoes, 🦗. The Sales Associate in the store informed me she was texting the owner, so hopefully I will receive a call back. This is my first time trying to resell any of my merchandise. I typically just donate it which in the future I will continue. My first impression of this place is, it’s a complete SCAM and I would NOT recommend anyone come here perhaps it’s OK to shop( but then again, who wants to shop an establishment that engages in dishonest practices), but if you’re looking to resell your items find another method. I certainly hope to hear from management tomorrow, as to what happened to my remaining 6 plus pairs of shoes. If nothing comes of this so be it, as my original plan was to take my shoes to my local church and donate. Whatever this place has decided to do with my shoes I hope that whoever is wearing them enjoys 😊. Again BEWARE!

Today I had the most unprofessional experience with a business owner. I did receive a call from the owner basically expressing her distain for my review. I explained to her this is my opinion, it is the lens through which I saw this experience and I stand by it. I did explain to her a few things in the process that might be helpful, such as (1) when someone drops off merchandise providing that person with an inventory of the items (2) if the business has decided not to purchase any of the items, perhaps a phone call to that customer would be in order as opposed to sending a automated text message that “your order is complete” only to drive to the establishment and find out your merchandise is not going to be taken. However, the owner continued to express her dislike of my online review, told me I was “red flagged” from the store. Eventually I told her the conversation was “unproductive” and politely tried to end the call, but she continued to express her distain for my online review, told me it was “slander”. Finally I had to end the call, telling her to “have a nice day” and hanging up as she would not stop. I’m flabbergasted by this experience with a business owner( couldn’t we just agree to disagree. Sold to this store several times and never had issues until my children went in today to sell some of their belongings. My children were told to take the shoes to another store to be authenticated when the store is supposed to have authenticators so I went inside to ask about the process. A red headed lady then went on to say she’s an authenticator but the shoes “didn’t pass” I asked her what the process was for the authentication process as the shoes were in fact real and I could provide receipts from where they were purchased. Another rude coworker heard me asking her valid questions and got irritated and laughed while working with another customer and said under her breath she’s mad because she’s trying to sell fake shoes. After that comment was made I was livid because why are you insinuating that they’re fake? Why would you laugh and say a false statement to other customers and not think I was going to get offended. They then proceeded to make comments and I stopped from walking out to ask what was said! This turned into me going back in forth (in a calm manner) they were only uncomfortable because my statements and questions were valid. I asked for a manager she said she didn’t have to give me the managers number I asked for the higher ups number and she laughed and wrote down corporate but threatened to then call the police. I asked for what as I did nothing wrong so as she called the police I called them as well to prevent from looking as though I was the aggressor. I had a complaint and advocated for myself. I waited for the police to come so I could explain the situation and 5 officers pulled up as if I was criminally doing something wrong. A lady with dirty blonde hair who was said to be the owner pulled up and didn’t ask me or the police anything she sided with her employees and asked the police to ban me from the store. They stereotyped my son as if he couldn’t bring real high priced items in the store. She laughed in my face and told other customer the items were fake and they were originally bought for $1,100 at Saks in Beachwood Mall a year and a half ago. I usually love coming to this Plato’s closet and the staff is usually really nice but this recent time was terrible. I came in around 1pm and gave my clothes to the associate and she said it’ll be a hour I don’t know why but she waited to process my clothes and gave everyone else’s clothes back before mines, even people that came in a hour after me. After a literal hour of just walking around. I come up to the counter and they still haven’t processed my clothes. After waiting 20 more minutes they finally call me up and I waited an hour and 20 minutes for 10 bucks. They said everything else I had was out of season… I had shorts, skirts, leggings and a dress and maybe one sweater. How is shorts in July out of season ? The workers seemed to be very rude to me, I walk in and I walk up to the counter and the girl says “dropping off ?” At first I didn’t think much of it maybe she was tired. But after watching her greet everyone with a smile and letting them know the sales of the day I realized it was just me for some reason she didn’t say hi to.
