First, I know these folks are working hard and stressed during covid. But still, I just want someone who will try.
I had a complicated issue with a medication savings card. The pharmacy ran my card but it wouldn't give me the discount. I call the savings card people and they say the card should work, but they need the pharmacy to call them so they can walk it through with them and they can figure out the issue. The card people say they can't call the pharmacy directly. The pharmacy person refused to call them to walk through the issue, and she told me to call the card people back. But what good is it for me to call them when I have no idea what the pharmacy is entering?
The pharmacy person just gave up super quickly and was snippy about me even asking. She wouldn't even entertain the thought that the savings card people might be able to figure the issue out. The savings card people, on the other hand, tried to be helpful and suggested I do a 3 way call, since they can't call each other. But The lady at the pharmacy sounded so irritated with me. Read moreI am soo disappointed! I went to this Walgreens as Walmart was not filling my Diabetic test strips. First time no problem. Now 2nd time, I have not had the Rx filled for 1st reason- their computer changed it to a brand I don't use so insurance denied. #2. When I called as to why I was not getting my refill, they said problem with so called test strips, and I said yes; look at scrip faxed in and it was another type so correct it and send it in please. Oh okay I'm the manager and I'll get it straightened out and call you ASAP. Three weeks later I call and nothing. I go to another Walgreens location and they tell me that there needs to be coding with new rules of our great insurance bills. I call Dr and they have not received a fax requesting this information from them. So I went to different Walgreens and addressed this and told Dr office to send everything in to.them including codes. Read moreStarting a few months ago they changed their pharmacy hours. They’re no longer open on the weekends. I have a busy work schedule and the weekends are the times I can run errands like picking up a prescription at the pharmacy. It blows my mind that a pharmacy would be closed on the weekend. Have to switch to a new pharmacy now. Other than that, generally the people who work here are super nice. So it’s unfortunate that I have to change. Separately, I see a lot of reviews mention that they’re slow, but honestly I’ve never been to a pharmacy that is “fast”. There are a lot of customers who come in and had their prescription sent 1 hour before. That’s an unrealistic expectation. It takes TIME people!
