Great concept and idea but terribly overpriced for the quality. We've had our sectional for over 6 years now and within the first couple years the cushions went soft and lost all their firmness and structural integrity. We got a few of the cushions replaced with the warranty but sure enough, after 2-3 more years, they went extremely soft again and do not fit nicely since they're more flat/expanded and now the warranty is expired. When we went into the store they basically told us there was nothing we could do besides buy more cushions.
Again, loved the concept when we first bought into it since we were sold the idea that we could reconfigure it however we wanted and we could reskin it when we moved or redecorated. Unfortunately, their slogan of "design for life" is unsustainable to the customer since the product clearly cannot last more than a couple years before losing its firmness. Their model is to have the customer constantly return and buy overpriced goods.
If you reskin all the cushions and pillows, it would easily be $1k if you have 6 or more pieces since one set of covers is $120 (for one cushion cover, one pillow cover, one bottom piece cover), each side/back piece cover is $40 and then to add to this, they recommended buying new cushions for the saggy ones, which would be $125 for each cushion and they'd last roughly 3 years before having to do it again. If I went down the route of just buying 6 new cushions since they all eventually sag, it'd be an additional $750+tax. At this point, I'd rather buy a new couch then have to re-purchase a low quality product knowing it will lose its integrity every few years. There's absolutely no reason for that.
Considering that we spent over $5k on this couch, you'd think that they'd be a much higher quality. The product is extremely disappointing and I have a lot of regret purchasing this. Save your money and buy a couch...
Read moreI have owned quite a few couches over the years, so finally investing a few thousand in a couch made sense in the long term. I am an ADHD researcher, so speng time looking into many options, here is what makes this worth the hefty price tag: there are always deals 20-30% off, they offer 0% financing (as long as you pay it off no cost), the quality is far surpas the ikea modular option, we are talking everything from the filling to the guarentee on the product and modular functionality will always be ideal so you can change it up. Not only do they have a pet friendly option (well truly only 3), but you so have the option to keep the guts and replace the color instead of the whole thing for a fee less than replacing a whole couch. And the cherry on top is even after you spent your cash the sales team will still help you (not always the case imho). I am a visual learner and got a little confused on how to change up my configuration, and the sales person Chris spent a few mins on the phone and even sent me the configuration with what I already had, plus some potential extra parts that may help in the future. I will mention, for me, all sets ups are not the most comfortable, please check out the deep seating options, something I wish I knew. Hope to be able to upgrade to at least one reclining option some day. Over all great experience, just really spend some time noodling over the space...
Read moreLove sac has nice furniture. It is modular and connects with their specific hardware. Super comfortable- has multiple stuffing options to ensure that it is and different sizing options. They taught a lifetime warranty, but that does not include the fabric. They say one of their fabric options pills, they will tell you which one so ask. They sell by the piece (a back is a piece and a seat is a piece). They have an option for sound/ speakers which sounds amazing. This would be good if you watch a ton of TV or movies. We were not sure that we wanted music coming through our couch. A big bonus is that you can wash the covers. What we also learned is that because of that, the seams can become misaligned on the seats. This would drive me crazy having to fix them to make it look nice. We priced out both. They are extremely expensive. For what we were looking for- a large sectional (10 pieces and an ottoman in a basic fabric) we were looking at over $7000, $11500 with the sound system). This was with a 25% discount. They do offer other discounts (1st responder, nurse, and others) that I would have used. I will say the salespeople were friendly and patient. Ultimately, we spent half the cost and got a really nice sectional. We could not justify that cost. Having the brand notoriety and limited warranty was not worth...
