Horrible experience with staff. Jewelry is beautiful and nicely priced and there is quite a variety but this review is not about the product. Today I had the most horrifying experience of my entire life in a retail store. There were absolutely no signs that jewelry may not be tried on. The staff also didn’t say anything until I tried one earring on. The sales person had an excessively vengeful attitude that was mean, bordering evil. She was determined to humiliate and make a scene. She said that the store policy is that if you tried something on you must buy it because it is common sense that you should not try things on in case there was an infection present. I was not willing to purchase this pair of earrings because the earring could’ve easily been disinfected. She called security and held me in the store and continued to rant about common sense and how I needed to pay for these earrings. Her coworker joined without being invited and brought up stealing. She said there are no signs against stealing but stealing is still against store policy and it is common sense; therefore people should know better. Unfortunately she was talking to me and she was way off topic but to bring stealing into the picture was more than preposterous. At this point I felt the line was crossed because we were not talking about stealing and I clearly stated that I would have not tried that earring on had I known what the store policy was. Ultimately there were two security guards called to deal with me and they let me go but the vengeful sales person was not satisfied. She had to continue her display of power by telling me that I was not allowed to come back into the store for the remaining of the day. I would never again visit the store no matter how beautiful the merchandise is. I think the ownership and the management should know that this kind of attitude from a sales person is beyond unacceptable and I only wish that her tone and her words would have been made available to ownership to assess whether they want to be represented in this manner. If i can give this store 0 star i would love to , not because of the products but because of the store manager, there was no sign says no return or exchange so i bought an ear ring and while i am paying for it the staff lady didn't even mention that it is a final sale or no return or exchange then, I bought the earrings and after like 20 min I decided to exchange it for something else, i didnt leave the mall or even tried the earrings on when i went back to exchange it with another one the manager was there and she said it was a final sale , i told her then why your colleague didn't tell me that before i pay it, just like most of the other stores do, and i showed her the girl that sold me the earing then the manager started to tell me don't point at her pointing is so rude and her voice started to raise in front of the whole people in the store and while i was still talking to her she started to keep saying thank you bye, thank you bye i really will never ever buy anything of that store again and i will tell all my friends to avoid buying anything from this store again. I went to this store in Alderwood Mall for the first time today. This is the worst experience I have ever had with the staff of this store. The seller and the manager are very rude, did not answer questions, did not want to help. When I asked if I could try on earrings, they told me to buy first, then try them on and if something does not fit, return them. I bought several pairs of earrings, tried them on and said that some earrings do not fit well and I would like to return them. To this, the manager sarcastically answered me that all the earrings are on sale and it is not possible to return the goods. I said that you said that I can return the earrings if they do not fit. She smiled sarcastically and said that it is not possible to return anything. This is the height of unprofessionalism, such people should not work in the service.
