My kids highly recommended this place. So I gave it a try for family dinner. How I liked the food is very subjective matter. For that I really did not like the food. Quesadillas was so greasy and too dry. Burrito had potato. That was odd. Again, this is very subjective view. If you like their food, that is also your opition. Reason I give only 20star was the service and mistreatment of customer. First, they forgot one of my order. So my son called and was told that I would get a refund if I visit the store. This was also understandable. I really did not want to drive 20 mins to the store, but I did since I had to visit my friend near by. When I got the store, my refund (just for the missing entry) was denied by the cashier. They wanted to make me a new food. I was very clear that I did not want any food. The cashier kept refusing the refund. Neither the cashier nor the manager on phone were apologetic. What happen next is why I am writing this review. After the cashier talked to the manager on the phone shortly, the cashier suddenly THROW $20 bill to me. I told the cahsier that I cannot take $20 because the missing entry costs only $10. The cashier looked at me like looking at a BEGGER and said "Just take it. You want money." Was I begging the money? No, I demanded the refund for the missing food, not extra $10. I am not a begger. I felt that I treated like a sh*t. Bad service. Bad Staff. Never...
Read moreThe Snohomish County Health Department has suspended the food permit for Lynnwood’s Washington Burrito, citing health hazards due to repeated violations.
According to a June 29 letter from the department’s Environmental Health Division to Washington Burrito owner/operator Memo Garcia, the order was issued “due to an imminent health hazard from a lack of properly working refrigeration and due to repeat violation of their approved plan of operation.” The violation constitutes an immediate health hazard and the restaurant’s food permit was suspended.
Located in a strip mall just north of the 44th Avenue West and 196th Street Southwest intersection, Washington Burrito accrued 10 “critical” violations in 2022, including possessing unlabeled toxic substances, workers unable to present their food-handling permit, improper cooling procedures, incorrect handling of raw eggs, and cross-contamination. Critical violations are classified by the health authority as “likely to cause foodborne illnesses.”
The health department visited the restaurant four more times in 2023 and issued 18 additional critical violations and three non-critical violations. Five of these were found during the department’s last visit on June 29 and included the following violations: lack of refrigeration, cross-contamination, incorrect handling of eggs and incorrect cold and hot food-holding...

I don't know if I ordered a bad item or it was an off day, but I did not have the experience so many others did.
The rice tastes like it was one of those 1-minute pouch rices you throw in the microwave. The beans were the strangest tasting beans I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant and I've tried a whoooole lot. The taquitos had almost no crunch or crisp to them at all.
The only reason it gets 2 stars is the price. But honestly, after this experience, I'd legitimately get Taco Bell over this place next time if I want...
