Mackinaw City Haunted House — Local services in Mackinaw Township

I have four years of experience acting in haunted houses and have visited many over the years. I am used to being in and around haunted houses and how they work.

That being said, I was still jump scared several times throughout the house. The scares are perfectly timed to get you just when you least expect it. I found myself fully immersed in the story told throughout the rooms and wondering what dark and disturbing scenes I would stumble upon next. This is a fantastically well built house with an excellent theme. There's one jump scare that got me more than others, but I won't tell you where it is. Just that it almost had me running.

We just came back from the Haunted Theater and saw there was one in the city. I asked if there was guy in the attraction like the one on the island a very simple yes or no question. The guy at the front rambled on how the guy on the island should be fired and he’s been trying to get him fired for 3 years and how they’re trying to keep ticket prices low. It’s unprofessional to talk about these things with guest let alone say out loud you’ve been trying to get someone fired. My husband and I (71 yrs young) and 2 grandkids(7 & 8) had a great time in July. We had it on our list to do after we had gone to Mackinaw Island. So we were not disappointed since we are haunted house devotees. The man in charge certainly had pride in his creative, creepy efforts. The kids were scared and excited.
