Still one of the most peaceful, quaint little known about parks in Mackinaw City. The city has become so commercialized and lost its small town appeal somewhere in the last 20 years but this park holds onto what’s left of it.

Great views of the Mighty Mac and the island. Quiet because your are far enough from the bridge not to hear the trucks and are located off a side street.

Limited parking. Benches, picnic tables, Beach, flowers, water and waves. Just sit down take a breath and...

This was the 1st time to visit a park. It is beautiful set right next to the lake and the sand is really nice and white. I would recommend going there with kids and with pets but please be careful of your patch. I loved spending time there with my family and I thought everything looked gorgeous. I suggest being there for the sunset rather than the middle of the day because...

Cool little beach/Park on lake Huron. Perfect for taking photos of the mighty Mac. It has some benches, picnic tables,a telescope and a nice grassy area as well. The beach is super clean, and It's kept up quite well. At the end of your souvenir shopping, come over relax and check out the views!

We were at Gary R Williams Memorial Park on the 4th of July. This is a great vantage point because we were able to see the Mackinaw City fireworks, the Mackinac Island fireworks, and the St. Ignace fireworks. We sat on the beach and enjoyed the evening. It was very busy but it was not crowded.
