Merrell Outlet — Local services in Mackinaw Township

I was pleasantly surprised to find a Merrell Outlet store so close to the boonies up here. I am going on a very intense hike out west, which will include the Grand Canyon, the Redwoods, Sequoia National Park, and Death Valley. I ended up going with two pair of Moab hiking boots - one waterproof and one with venting. I spent a good 2.5 hours there and tried on basically everything. I have a bad left foot, so shoe shopping can be a complete hassle. I needed a separate insole to help with the cushioning, but these are some of the nicest and most comfy hiking boots I've ever owned. Too bad the shoe version just doesn't cut it with my feet! I am hoping all I have to do over the next year or two is just buy replacement insoles! Heading back next week to grab two pair, just in case of the product being discontinued. My family stopped at Merrell in Mackinac City Sept 17th. They were having a huge sale! I went to buy myself shoes and my whole family ended up buying shoes because the sale was too good. Get 30 off one pair and 50% off 2 more (something like that). They asked if my sister and I were buying together, we can save money if we do. So of coursfootage. After us, my brother purchased insoles. My mom decided last minute she wanted shoes too. My mom went to pay the woman working (red hair big smile I want to say, Kate?) Unfortunately not all of us bought at the same time. However she remembered us all buying and added my mom's shoes onto one of our other purchases to give her the best dicoint possible (within the rules of course).

Just popped in to look around a couple of days ago and ended up with 2 pairs of shoes and 2 sets of Aetrex insoles. They have a good selection of summer and winter shoes as well as waterproof. Our salesperson was phenomenal! She was super helpful, attentive, friendly, personable, and really catered to both of us individually. She paid attention to our comments and was always one step ahead. She was honestly the best salesperson I’ve encountered in a long time!
