Del Sol - Color Change (Closed until May 2026) — Local services in Mackinaw Township

Nate was so helpful yesterday! He was more than knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. His education on how the color-changing crystals work, was fascinating :-) We LOVE DelSol, and this is definitely a store you don't want to miss next time you're in Mackinaw City. We thank him and DelSol for a great shopping experience. I will definitely be back next time we are in town, and would recommend them to anyone.

Pro Tip: Always machine wash your clothing from here on cold, inside out, and with no bleach or other harsh chemicals. Your items will stay looking new for many years so you can keep enjoying them.

Also: this store highly respects our Military and Veterans, and was the ONLY store in Mackinaw City to offer a Military Discount. They support our troops, and I will always support them. Other stores when we asked, replied "why would we have a military discount?"

Shopping here was way more than a five-star experience. Nearly everything in the store changes color in the sun, and they have several light stations throughout the store where you can see the effect within seconds. This was a huge delight for my five year old son. My wife and I purchased sunglasses and she bought several bottles of nail polish. So far we love the products, but the shopping experience itself is why I am writing this review. Nathan and Jessica went out of their way to make us feel valued and appreciated, exuding kindness and patience while we made our purchasing decisions. Though they were busy, they took time to show my son how the lights worked and he was enthralled, testing nearly every t-shirt he could reach. We visited Del Sol in Mackinaw and were helped by Zemi… she was wonderfully kind and helpful! The color changing features are a sure enjoyment for anyone with their wide varieties of products… from nail products to jewelry and hair clips to clothing, sunglasses and toys, this store has the perfect souvenir waiting for you.

Second shout out to Zemi… we visited the shop before lunch and returned a second time after dinner (HOURS) later… she looked up to greet us, and cheerfully smiled and said, “Welcome Back!” With the probably hundred visitors in between our stops in this touristy town, she recognized my daughter and I and THAT is the perfect reason to shop here.
