Really good and balanced food.
We ordered the Chickpea delight and Brown stew Tofu. The food was really nice and flavorful. We had sweet potato fires and sweet plantains for sides. I personally liked the sweet plantains best and she preferred the sweet potato fries.
I liked the portion size and how balanced the meal was, which was unlike the other restaurants around. The waitstaff was polite. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star for atmosphere was the annoying lady at the table across. She was just being rude and indecisive, excessively complaining and asking the same questions again and again vexing the waitstaff. She told them the first set of dishes were unsatisfactory and after a whole 1o minutes of asking the same questions in different order, placed her re-order with a lot of customization. Went there three hours before closing... No plates, no silverware (a sit down meal from foam to-go boxes and weird bamboo disposable cutlery-- no worries about cutting through the bottom the foam box). Waitress was kind of blunt and gruff. No curry chicken or fried chicken (they were "done".... three hours before close). Two different music stations playing at the same time. Interior that was supposed to look bright and tropical but comes across like a fast food place. Food came out of the kitchen at three different times, not all at once. All this, for about $20 a...

We carried out and ate at a picnic table since we had our dog with us, but the 2 women working were amazingly helpful and kind. There are numerous gluten free selections (I am celiac), and the flavors are out of this world. We shared the curried goat and jerk chicken and sides of the sauteed vegetables, plantains, rice and beans, and a refreshing salad. We are now contemplating coming back for dinner to try more. ...
