My son and I stopped in here today on the way to a doctors appt across the bridge. There was a large group ahead of us and we were told to come back in about 15-20 minutes which was fine because I wanted to find an ATM but had to make it on top across the bridge. Sadly it was closed by the time we got back from our appt but we watched for about 30 minutes before we left. The staff was wonderful with the group ahead of us! My son cannot wait to come back, we live only and hour away so that's the best part. The staff was kind, patient, and good to the young kids. Read moreThe idea of this place is very cool. We brought 4 teenagers to make knives. When we walked in, 2 opted out. It’s an empty storefront with one guy who works with each person one at a time. He introduced himself and then pretty much makes the knife for you. There was about 3 minutes of the kids themselves actually hammering and making the knife. The employee didn’t even explain the process while he was making the knife. If the kids were under 8 years old they may have waked out of there feeling like they made a knife but anyone older than that just watches a guy make a knife that you get to bring home. Read moreI have been a fan of "Forged in Fire" for a few years. So my wife called to schedule me for a forging of a knife with Chad Osborn. Chad was voted "Fan Favorite" from the show. Obviously I am a big fan. So I was very pleased that he had made sure to be at the forge for the time I chose to make a knife. He was more than friendly and helpful.
