B.C. has been a family favorite for years. We have a larger family and a pizza buffet is always a good choice with our crew. Good value and nobody leaves hungry unless they choose to. ;)

Recently my eldest was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and can no longer have gluten. This has been quite the adjustment, especially for the kid who loves pizza. Yes, there are GF crusts you can find/make, but when going out as a family for pizza is a tradition, it hits hard.

When planning our trip into Mackinaw City, I was so so happy to find that B.C. had a GF crust and it had great reviews among others who couldn't have gluten! I think my son was more excited about our planned stop to B.C. than anything else on our little trip!

I'm still getting used to how to go about ordering for him and making it less of an inconvenience for whoever is working but it was simply fantastic here last night!! We told the worker that we needed gf crust and he was on it! Asked my son what kind of toppings he'd wanted and then personally brought the pizza right to our table, which I was very happy about as it minimized risk of cross contamination. I believe we were charged buffet price still, which made it more affordable for us but we were told we were welcome to take the leftovers with us.

I asked my boy how it tasted, somewhat worried because after all his excitement, what if it wasn't up to what he hoped for? I am so happy to report, in his exact words, that "it's the best pizza I've ever tasted!"

So thank you so much! Nothing but love from our family! I'm thankful for the quality and care and for the excellent workers on staff last night. I may come to Mackinaw for the sights and fudge, but for my Julian, I think B.C. is the pinnacle.

Also, the rest of us were all very happy with...

Every now and again, you get a tourist that thinks they are entitled to God like service everywhere they go. The truth is, the people behind the counter of any food establishment are not perfect by any means. People need to realize that the staff of these establishments have their own lives, worries, anticipations, and limits. They are struggling to get by another hard day of work. They are not blessed to have glorious opportunities to spend thousands of dollars at will, and eat in Las Vegas twice a year. However, i can say that in all the years i have been eating at this pizza joint, never once have i had a negative interaction. They can be very busy, and may need to rush you a small amount. But they are never pushy, and deserve more credit for having to juggle dozens of orders both in person and over the phone. So some patience helps to make it a better experience. The food is fantastic however. An all you can eat buffet and salad bar are a bonus to any restaurant. And these guys will put any pizza you request on the buffet. Only about $8, including drinks. And salad is about $6. The breadsticks are addicting, and the pizza is good and gooey. However, the only downside is having to eat something good, (the pizza) to get to the best damn part. (The crust) And i hate pizza crust on a usual basis. This pizza joint might not have all the bells and whistles that a world traveler, or gourmet diner might expect. But it fills a good deep hole with some more than exceptional food, and a more than fair price....

Where do I even start? I went here last week and it was so good I had to think of what I was going to write. Heads up, lots of glazing ahead. We got a pepperoni and ham pizza, a cheese pizza, and some breadsticks; every part of this meal was phenomenal, the service: excellent, ranch: exquisite, pizza crust: crispy and fluffy, pepperoni: high quality and not spicy. I beg you, if not this B.C. Pizza, please, please get some kind of B.C. Pizza in your life and good things will happen. Out of all the places in Mackinac this one stood out with high quality service; the workers were kind, welcoming, and seemed as thought they were simply working to make a paycheck, but working because they enjoy the job; every person we talked to that worked here was positive and kind. Also, the soda was well balanced, they got the syrup to water ratio pretty good, which some other places has a hard time with. Also also, the place was clean, which is difficult for pizza places because of the groups that tend to frequent there, but I get the impression they keep on top of cleaning well. Lastly, the atmosphere was welcoming and not-overwhelming, with no...

My family and I were on our way up to Grand Marais, MI and needed a quick stop meal. We looked ahead at top rated placed by the bridge and found B.C. We called ahead and were given about a 20 minute wait which was perfect since we were still 22 minutes away from the bridge. We split a pizza half ham and pineapple, half pepperoni and sausage. They were offering a special that came with a side of bread sticks. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Anyone familiar with Dave Portnoy and Barstool One Bite this is about a 7.9 out of 10. This pizza was not super greasy. The sauce was savory and not too sweet. The crust was little to no flop. It was not too doughy. It was a little on the thick side. It might have scored higher if I had eaten it fresh out of the oven and not ordered takeout and had it sit in the box for a few minutes. The bread sticks were darn near perfection. I think they could've used a touch more garlic butter on them but that's just me being particular. I definitely would be happy to grab this pizza any time we are traveling back north to the UP. Keep up the great work y'all.

Our first time here. The pizza (12" regular crust, red sauce, Italian sausage, peppers and mushrooms) was cooked really fast! It was a really good pizza with quality ingredients and served crispy/chewy and piping hot. My only complaints are that the"dining" room was just some tables and chairs in a long cavernous room. Nothing on the tables. We got our sodas, plastic ware, paper plates, napkins and packets of crushed red pepper from the counter. Even though we said we were eating there, the pizza came in a box with no serving utensils. It was hard to serve hot, cheesy pizza without a spatula. I felt like we were picnicking instead of eating at a restaurant. I may be old fashioned but I'd like a plate to eat off of.

This place is a must have whenever we're in the area. We love their pizza and I think it's in our top 5 of pizza places. I just wish we had a BC down this way (Muskegon). Great pizza and they deliver right to your campsite! I have nothing but great things to say about this BC location. My girlfriend always gets her old standby of pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers. Why not stick with what works? Right? I always get the Patrolman's Special minus mushrooms, add black olives and it's great every time. Delicious sauce in ample amount with gooey cheese and a great blend of toppings. Nothing missing with this place. Even at their busiest they're friendly and courteous. Excellent hospitality!
