Paramount Tattoo-Mackinaw city — Local services in Mackinaw Township

You'd think if you spend $800 at their shop in mackinaw, leave a good tip, make a 6 hour drive to Alpena to get the tattoo fixed, that you could at least get a call back when you're coming back into town wanting to make an appointment? Even after the tattoo was messed up (which they admitted the guy pushed too hard) I wasn't mad at them. I was trying to get back in so I could get the tattoo finished. I messaged last year, got an automated response that they'd get back to me. They never did. Headed north this weekend and called to see if I could make an appointment. The guy told me to message them. He said that was the best way to get ahold of them. Which I already had...once last year and once 5 days ago. No response. So I commented on a post 2 days ago and said I'd love to talk to someone and make an appointment. No one ever got ahold of me. Don't out of town people MAKE your business? Maybe you should be nicer to those that give you second chances and drive 6 hrs..

And yes I did pay $800 because after I paid for my son's tattoo and a tip for both, it was over $800. You could just apologize for not getting back to me rather than make excuses and not take accountability. A simple message was all I asked for. A yes or no if I could make an appointment Saturday. 7/1/2023 I wanted to get my septum pierced, I was told there was one artist who performed those piercings and that I would have to wait for him to finish up the client he was currently working on. We were extremely patient and understanding. FINALLY the artist takes me back to the room, he had me sit straight up in front of him in a chair to do the piercing. No doubt he pierced my nose INSANELY crooked. The needle nearly came completely through the bottom of my nose. He was apologetic and took the jewelry back out. I was not charged for that ‘service’ but I left upset and in shock that I patiently waited almost 4 hours for a botched piercing. The staff were very friendly but regardless of that I will never come here again. DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE. My boyfriend got a small 15 minute tattoo while I was still waiting(outline of the UP and MI). His tattoo turned out wonderful, he is very happy with the results. PS this is my SECOND review. I tried to put pictures with the first one and I guess the company was able to get google to take it down due to a small amount of blood in my nose which tells me they would like to keep this hushed.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We waited for almost 4 hours in total which was not an issue for us, we were very patient.
