I had a really great food experience last Saturday night. Visiting family, they took us to Longhorn Steakhouse, which I had never been to before. The atmophere was lively with lots of people. Even though it was packed, they were able to seat our party of 11. We had some very tasty comfort food, and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. The service was just excellent, and everyone received their plates within a minute of each other, with no mistakes. Our wait-staff and cooks were fantasic, and I was surprised to find out they are part of a large chain. Some of the other chains that aren't doing so well could stand to take a page out of Longhorns book. Okay, now let me tell you what I had and what sent me over the moon. I wasn't exceptionally hungry, so I decided to order small plates. I had an order of 4 shrimp that were cooked well with a lot of flavor, but were nothing that was super special, just good. However, I also ordered the white cheddar stuffed mushrooms and split them with others because they were so large and filling. They were incredibly delicious. I was really happy that I ordered them. They roasted them up perfecfly to make them succulent with mushroomy-cheesy flavor. For me, the star of the meal was the crispy brussel sprouts. I do love brussel sprouts and have had a version of this dish at several restaurants, but I have to say, never have I enjoyed this dish more than I did at Longhorn Steakhouse. They cooked them up- not crunchy or mushy, but just right. The smokey honey butter was out-of-this-world fantastic! When I go back for another visit, I will be asking for us to eat at this restaurant again just for the crispy brussel sprouts. (My photos aren't all that great because I forgot to take them before I started eating!)

A Perfect Date Night Delight: LongHorn Steakhouse's Porterhouse Perfection As my lovely wife and I stepped into LongHorn Steakhouse in Sterling Heights, MI, after a long day's work, we were greeted by the inviting aroma of sizzling steaks. Opting for the porterhouse, we embarked on a culinary journey that exceeded all expectations. From the first savory bite, it was evident that this porterhouse was meticulously prepared to perfection. The charred exterior gave way to a succulent and tender center, bursting with robust flavor. Cooked precisely to our liking, each slice revealed a juicy and flavorful masterpiece. Accompanied by perfectly seasoned sides and a glass of fine wine, the porterhouse experience at LongHorn Steakhouse elevated our date night to new heights. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with attentive service adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. LongHorn Steakhouse in Sterling Heights, MI, has undoubtedly mastered the art of steak craftsmanship, and their porterhouse is a shining example of their culinary expertise. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an exceptional dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend indulging in this savory delight.

When this place first opened, they were great. But, the food has gone downhill & the ambience is lacking. Steaks are loaded w/ seasoning. I added mushrooms once, & they were so salty I couldn’t eat them. Stay away from the bone-in ribeye. It’s just not worth it. Former managers Justin & Antonio were rude w/ Napoleon complexes. But, they’re gone now. Overall, it’s not too bad, but can def. improve to their previous standards. Update: I went today for lunch…total crap. The bartender huffed & puffed when he was told he had a bar guest. Bread sucks compared to all other chains. Soup add-on says $2.99 on the menu, yet I was charged $3.99 & the worst part was my ribeye. It tasted old & I ended up w/ the squirts! Update: Justin, Becca & Charles are great. The Longhorn Old Fashioned is a top tier cocktail. The lamb chops are okay, but the sauce is just some type of fortified A-1. I would prefer more char & no sauce. Latest meal has brought their food back down to a one star. Salad was dry. Mashed potatoes were so so. Steak was subpar at best: just a salty wet mess. Zero char. I didn’t even finish it. Seems to always suck during lunchtime.

My family and I went out to dinner yesterday Sunday. I was extremely disappointed. The food is expensive and I don't mind paying for expensive food when it's good I wanna start with when I walked in. I was ignored not only by the manager standing there that was an African-American female, as well as a Hostess who I don't know what was wrong with her. She couldn't keep her eyes open, was breaking out in a sweat and fanning herself. I was very alarmed by that she looked like she was going to pass out moving onto our food my son ordered the signature stake that says it's a crime. If you don't try it it was gross and disgusting. It was charred. It was overcooked and it wasn't cooked to temperature my grandson. Who's only one loves steak. He couldn't even eat the steak because it had so much seasoning on it. He was wiping it off of his tongue and started crying. We asked for a new one. They brought the same thing out another steak that was too spicy to eat. We then asked for a third one that took about 45 minutes and looked like it was either broiled or microwaved. I say that because it was white puffy and rare inside of it our server I wish I knew her name she was top-tier excellent I write her a 10 on a scale of five she was on point attentive, caring concerned about my grandson's food. I wish I kept my receipt and got her name because I was very impressed with her service so the manager came to the table same manager that I saw upfront that ignored me when I walked in, came to the table again unfriendly could've cared last talked about our grandson's food. She never smiled. She never came back to check on us. Never could've cared less that it took 45 minutes so he did not eat. I don't ever leave reviews, but I have to say I love Longhorn the last time I was there in March? It was delicious but after this experience, I doubt I would go back to that location. I heard the Chesterfield location is much better. My grandson needed a highchair. They put us right next to the computer station where all the servers are lined up to use this one computer right behind us so it was a distraction and it really made for an on Friendly dinner that we don't ever do together as a family. There were five of us so this was a real treat as I said the foods expensive and I don't mind paying for expensive food, but this is gotta be...

Great atmosphere...peaceful.... Me and the wife decided to order the same dish from the big 3 casual dining steakhouses. Longhorn, Texas roadhouse & outback I definitely see why texas is now the #1 casual dining restaurant in the US as of this month. We went to longhorn for dinner last night and it was by far the worst of the 3. Our tables legs were completely separated from the base in 2 spots. It was/is so unstable we thought our food was going to end up on the floor. Waitress was nice, but not great....normal quality of service. No complaints, just basic. The food was so bad neither of us finished it. I will say the salads are huge which is a good thing. Although my wife's preference of steak is considered blasphemy in its requested preparation but usually it's at least still somewhat moist and most importantly, tastes good. It was burnt...not a beautiful miard or crust but burnt and literally zero seasoning. Or severely under seasoned. She took it home because she always feels bad if she don't. Were not the type to complain but to simply never return. My steak was cooked well...but zero seasoning! If I need A1 to eat it, it's trash... The sweet potato was beautifully orange and cooked perfectly also..the cinnamon was great. I'd suggest filling the 2in void with something? Maybe copy texas and use marshmallow 🤔 The shrimp was rubber(overcooked) must be cooked fresh or it's rubber. It's on a bed of rice? Rice? Another starch? Who wants rice with steak and potatoes? Get rid of the rice...you don't need it... If outback beats you in flavor, there's a problem. I know there's a lot of people out there that like bland food, especially the elderly...No offense but it is true and if that's your primary guests, then by all means continue... Although there were a couple good points and I do like the fact that this place is much quieter compared to Texas...But there's probably a reason why Texas is loud...It's because there's a line out the door almost every day... My bill was $61 with tip almost $80... And for what I got....that's obnoxious! Same food but bigger and better for about $15 to $20 less at the "other" place. Just can't see ourselves going back... BTW, you may want to fix the tables...lawsuit headed your way...we joked about it, so it could be a...

Let me start of by saying this is one of our favorite restaurants probably my wife's very favorite. We were here early tonight, we waited longer than usual for some one to come to our table, by the time they got there we were ready to order our food. My wife ordered her favorite parm chicken, and I ordered my usual the outlaw Ribeye, I like it medium, when our food finally came out (it was a long wait) my steak was well done, and I dont think it was a outlaw ribeye, it was very thin. I think the waiter ordered the wrong steak. So I sent the steak back and waited and waited, the waiter would stop by and say it's coming right up, he did that about three times. Then it was 4 more minutes sir. So I ate my brussel sprouts, and waited, my wife finished her meal. I finally told them to forget it, he had the nerve to ask me if I wanted it to go?! If I wanted a steak to go I would have ordered carry out!! So then the wait for our bill started, another 10 min. Finally I got up and went to talk to Sandy the wonderful Hostess who we adore, I told her what happened and she got the waiter that waited on us. I told him to give me my bill, so he went and got it. The steak was taken off our bill. So I payed for my wife's meal. Then sandy got the manager Dan he looked at the bill and said what would you like me to do, we already took the steak off the bill. Well no shit, considering I never got the steak!! Like he was doing me a favor. Not once during this whole deal did that manager come to our table and not once did the waiter apologize until I told him that it was his fault I never got a new steak, that he did not go to bat for me! So we are taking a break from this place and will be looking for a new favorite place to go. I'm sure if Angelo was working this wouldn't have been an issue. Btw we were sitting in the first booth where all the wait staff puts in their orders. We seen a lot of food returning. And the manager Dan running around like a chicken with his...
