They have been open about 4 months. Mom and I went on Friday around 11am so we didn't have to wait to be seated.
What struck me at first was the attractive, large outside entrance and the very pretty, bright and clean inside. There are fresh flowers on the table, which is a nice touch.
Mom and I have pretty much stopped having coffee out as the price is silly but we really wanted our coffee this late morning so we both ordered a cup. We didn't think to look at the price, figuring it would hover around $3.00...nope, $4.00 a CUP! AND A small cup at that! But it was very delicious. The coffee was hot, smooth and rich, but really $4.00, what is going on with prices everywhere!
Our service was excellent. The vibes inside reminded me of First Watch but on a prettier and larger scale.
The food was excellent.
There is plenty of parking.
My only complaint is we had leftovers so they gave us a plastic box and cup for the fruit, along with a cheap, flimsy bag to put it in. I put the box in the bottom and the fruit cup on top and it slid all over. The gravy spilled through the box and the juice of the fruit spilled a bit as well.
$40.00 for brunch for 2 - nope, can't do that very often, not when I haven't been able to get a 'normal paying' job since 2022. This job and overall economy is tight. But I'm glad we went and when we save up enough we...
Read moreI visited this restaurant as I seen their ribbon cutting pictures on facebook. I decided to give them a try because this location is close to my residence.
After conversing with our waitress, I learned the restaurant had been open for 3 weeks with a soft opening.
We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was steady and moving efficiently. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful with modern decor. It’s not a huge restaurant, but a lot of strategic seating. I am not a fan of how close you could be next to your other patrons if you have a party of two. That could be a disaster if they have bad table etiquette.
I love the booth design and location of the high top tables.
Our waitress Laura was friendly and checked on us throughout our dining.
Our came out quickly and it was more than expected, especially for the bacon slices. I don’t think I have ever received 4 pieces of bacon at any breakfast serving establishment. Two slices is usually the norm…LOL! Hopefully, that doesn’t change.
My eggs, breakfast potatoes and toast were all fresh. My husband said his Monte Cristo was perfect and nice in size.
I will return and I have already recommended...
Read moreOkay honest review here! I would have given this 4 but Let me explain. New business in town as of May of 2025. This is one of 5 locations throughout the southeast Michigan that is family owned (not named the same). I Went here for breakfast on a Wednesday at 9:30am. The restaurant was very comfortable, quaint, and boarded on the side of up scale. Kind of reminded me of the Jagged Fork in Rochester. They are only open til 3 most days. Service was very attentive and prompt. Food was very good as I ordered a country omelette, side of seasoned broasted red skin potatoes with coffee and toast. Which ran me 23.50 before tip. Is this where society is today paying $18 dollars for omelette and toast, $4 for coffee? Most entrees on the menu will run you north of $15. Which again in this day and age seems a bit pricy in all honesty. I think I’ll stick to different options in the area. A family of 4 in this place could cost you $90-$100. Of course depending upon ages of kids. Just be aware that it could be on the pricy side for a...
