The food is extraordinarily overpriced. I believe the staff tries to do their best but almost every single time the order is incorrect. My orders usually take 20 or more minutes even though they only have two main dishes and perhaps a side or two. Whenever I'm waiting, since we can see the kitchen and front counter staff, the majority of their communication is the front sending back things that are incorrectly made or pieces that are missing and people's scrambling around because customers are pointing out that they forgot dishes. It seems to be an extremely prevalent issue. Dishes are constantly missing or made incorrectly. I do believe this is because their timer system is attempting to rush the employees so much that employees are marking things as completed in order to try to beat out the timer and then trying to go back and then the kitchen and front end aren't communicating properly and that is what is causing all the missed dishes or improperly made dishes. And unfortunately the employees at this location have nothing to do with that and cannot change that because that is a corporation issue. I understand wanting to make workers be efficient in their time but forcing them to move so fast that they mess up every single order just makes things worse, not better. There were some cleanliness issues both front and back and when I informed one of these staff members during one of my visits that the restroom was out of toilet paper, even though that stuff member was just sitting there talking to somebody, in the 20 something minutes I was there they never bothered to go put more toilet paper in the bathroom. Multiple other customers also informed them and they simply said they would get to it and continue to chat amongst themselves. That is an employee issue. The food however was fresh and was hot when it did eventually come out which is the only reason they are getting three stars because I love pasta so much. But they definitely need some new training, and to learn that when you're at work you need to be working, and corporate needs to rethink some of their...
Read moreI went to the 3119 Crooks Rd., Troy, MI, Noodles location last Tuesday evening. The hours on the website and the door both stated they were open until 7pm. I pulled up to the store around 6:24pm and they were already closed, with no explanation of closing. While I was standing there, looking into the store, several others walked up wanting Noodles too. We were all confused, especially when they wouldn’t answer the phone when several of us called. Plus, we could see workers in the store.
My next stop was the 6836 Rochester Rd., Troy, MI, Noodles location. I checked on my phone before I left the Crooks location and they were to close at 9pm! I was in luck!! I get to that store and see many working inside the facility, but the front door is locked? I went to the side door, which was open and tried to order food for my disabled mother. The lady at the counter told me “we’re not taking anymore orders!” I was confused and shocked, because they weren’t closing for almost 2 more hours. She said “we’re too busy!” So, I left and went to Kung Fu Noodle House, which never disappoints. If you want real noodles, go there!
I will not waste my time with “Noodles” anymore. It’s really gone down hill! I only went there because my mother was craving it. It’s a shame to have working hours on a website and door but not abide by them....
Read moreSubject: Absolutely Amazing BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese!
Wow, this BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese is fantastic! Noodles & Company really nailed the flavors on this one. The BBQ sauce is the star – it has that perfect balance of sweet, smoky, and tangy, genuinely reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's, which is a huge plus. The pulled pork itself was incredibly soft and succulent, like it just fell off the bone. What makes this dish truly great is how the smooth, creamy macaroni and cheese balances everything out. It adds a wonderful depth and character that complements the richer pork and sauce, making the whole bowl cohesive and delicious.
I tried adding bacon to it on my last visit, and it made an already great dish even better! Highly recommend that addition.
(Quick note: I personally can't eat onions, so my review is based on the dish prepared without them. The standard version might include other toppings.) Overall, an amazing combination of flavors and textures. Definitely a winner and highly...
