National Coney Island - Hall & Hayes — Restaurant in Macomb Township

I love their hanis so flipping yummy,!! And again when it comes to the services it depends on your waitress there was only one girl that i can remember who gave horrible service. I have kids my four year old asked for chocolate milk and for my 2-year-old asked if we could get a water and she brought back two chocolate mugs instead and they were in the smallest cups ever for kids which is fine but you could see at least 4 in of chocolate syrup at the bottom as if it didn't get stirred up all the way and way too sweet for my kids especially a baby, she barely checked up on us she kept forgetting to bring certain things to the table and she forgot to do something or add on something with my dad's meal Oh my dad asked for grilled chicken hani And she brought him fried chicken. Rather than that the food is great I usually never have bad service I will waitress myself so I know how the routine works and this girl seems like she was overwhelmed or scattered brained when she wasn't even busy at all. We started to bring a height chair for my daughter It took her like 10 minutes to even bring it and she brought a booster seat instead for my 2-year-old and I told her no I need a height chair I said and so she brought us the height chair.. everyone makes mistakes don't get me wrong but she made a lot of mistakes she just didn't seem all...

I understand this is a Coney Island and not a 5 star restaurant but I still expect to have a decent experience; I at least want my Hani to taste like a Hani and my fries to be hot! This location has always been my least favorite but sometimes it's the most convenient and every time I go I swear I'll never go back but then I wait long enough and forget and make the same mistake over again. The service is always slow; like sloth kind of slow so much so that I feel like I'm imposing on wait staffs leisure time, aren't you there to do a job?! The food takes forever (or maybe it sits in the window forever because it's always cold). And it is it a knock off Coney?? Because it never tastes quite right

The food here as always, is fantastic! Definitely no complaints there ☺️ our issue however, was with our server, Arielle. She started off friendly and sweet, but the moment our food came out, she decided we no longer needed her assistance. She constantly checked on all her other tables, but didn't even come back to even check on "how things are". We needed condiments that were not on our table and she refused to come over despite us constantly making eye contact and even trying to wave her down. Ignored each time. Multiple times she made direct eye contact and still did not come over. I ended up having to cross the restaurant to retrieve the needed condiments from another table. We all also went without drinks through most of our meal as she never came by to ask about refills. We absolutely love this location, and the food and usually service is always pleasant, which is why this incident really upset us. To be treated so rudely in a place we have always felt welcomed and comfortable in was really upsetting and I do hope she does better than to treat...
