Mammoth Coffee Roasting, Co. home of URSA — Restaurant in Mammoth Lakes

My partner and I love Mammoth Roasting, and we try to stop by every time we are in the area, so it's awesome that they open early. When we found out that they also catered weddings AND made little personal pies, we knew that we'd love to have them cater our big day. Tracie was an absolute gem to coordinate with. She was very responsive and was wonderful at suggesting options that were out of the box. One of the fun options we came up with was having little bags of Mammoth Roasting coffee beans as our party favors. Tracie even worked with me on getting our personalized stamp stamped onto the bags!! And the desserts were delicious!! That being said, we also splurged and had Mammoth Roasting cater our Morning Of Brunch. We had everything from the Gluten Free and Mammoth Donuts to individualized breakfast sandos and burritos. Everyone could not stop talking about how good brunch was. We felt really lucky to have happened upon Mammoth Roasting a couple of years ago and that they were able to be apart of our big day. We cannot recommend Tracie, Steve, and the Mammoth Roasting team enough for delicious goodies and excellent customer service. They really do go above and beyond! We are excited to get back to Mammoth soon to try their URSA dining...

I want to take time out to rave about Steve who I am assuming is the owner. Steve is the most amazing and kind -warm (duo) hearted host and you can notice it within few seconds of talking with him. When we came by on the present day they only had coffee and other drinks left and were out of all the amazing treats they make. After hearing that we tried to come by get coffee and donuts the day before the present day as well, He immediately showed a lot of empathy and offered us a great treat at no charge. He promised to reserve us a lot more treats for next day Sunday when the place is busiest and they make special treats including cinnamon rolls without any advance charge. Next day before leaving the town we went to the store and steve kept his promise and handed us a box of goodies he reserved for us. And the cinnamon roll was one of many best thing I ever put...

Terrible experience due to some of the worst service I’ve ever had. I’m not picky but today’s experience was worthy of a review. Everyone in the place had to wait which I think is typical on a Saturday morning. I watched the young lady begin my drink and then leave it at the espresso machine to go take more orders. The other barista was leisurely making the other drinks in the queue but mine sat there for OVER 15 minutes. Finally she got to making my drink just as I was getting the other baristas attention. She gave my drink and robotically said sorry for the wait and turned away immediately. My drink was about the same temp as liquid magma, which for some might be great but it was noticeably bad. Never going back. My advice is to try another of the coffee shops. Had great coffee at other places $8 for a bad coffee and close to 20...
