Pet Friendly Rentals by Mammoth Sierra Reservations — Local services in Mammoth Lakes

We had our worst experiences in a condo that was reserved through Mammoth Sierra Reservations! We've stayed in so many places before and never had such a bad stay! There were many rats in the condo and we called the management to either move us if take care of the rats and they never did!!! Everyday when we were out of the condo they would attack us and trash our place!! They ate one bag our bread and kit Kat and a few other things the first time we didn't know they existed. After that we had to put every single thing in the fridge but they still came and dropped our vitamins and even our utensil.. to a point that we were disgusted to cook and eat at home anymore!! Some of us didn't even sleep well, cause if it was quiet they would show up!

Also the bed sheets were not clean, we found blood and all sort of stains!

We called the management many times and left messages, but they never returned our phone calls!!! even last day while checking out stopped by office and they told us they will call us and never calked us back!! Very unprofessional!

I see this company has a few "sister" companys it runs under but all uses the same online rental site. I had reservations to stay in their 4 bedroom lusury property. Scheduled to arrive in 4 days and they inform me they have double booked the property. The properties they had available to offer me to switch to were a joke. Not only were they not 5sl star accommodations as i originally paid for but they were tiny 2 or 3 bedroom homes. Now there are no properties on any other site. We have to split our family vacation into 2 homes across town from eachother. Way to ruin family time. New management is seriously needed. How can you double book? Get it together. I was surprised to see some negative reviews about this company. My family and I have been using Mammoth Sierra for over 12 years to book our lodging for our yearly family ski trip. We have had consistently excellent service.

For example, one year I had gotten my weeks mixed up and booked the wrong dates. We showed up after hours and when our key wasn't there; I called the contact number. The employee looked me up and told me what had happened, so now it's after hours with a tired family and no place to stay (all my fault). Well, they came right in and found me a place on the spot.
