Outstanding Experience at Bob’s Discount Furniture
I walked into Bob’s Discount Furniture expecting to find a basic recliner or love seat within my budget, but I walked out with so much more than I bargained for – in the best possible way.
What I Was Looking For After browsing at La-Z-Boy and Haverty’s, I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that a single recliner chair was all my budget would allow. The prices at those stores had me feeling like I’d have to compromise significantly on features or quality.
What I Actually Found Bob’s completely changed my perspective. Not only were their prices incredibly competitive, but I ended up getting a full couch that’s loaded with premium features I never thought I could afford: motorized recline, lumbar support, headrest adjustment, massage function, and heat. It’s like getting a luxury spa treatment in my living room.
The Sales Experience Scott, my sales associate, made all the difference. He was attentive and knowledgeable about the products without being pushy or making me feel pressured to spend beyond my comfort zone. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and showed me options that genuinely fit my needs and budget.
The Financing The 12-month zero interest financing option sealed the deal. It made the purchase even more manageable and allowed me to get the couch I really wanted without the financial stress.
Final Thoughts I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet by ending up at Bob’s instead of purchasing from the other furniture stores I visited. The combination of great prices, quality products, excellent customer service, and flexible financing made this a win on every level. Read moreMy mother and I visited the Manassas Sudley Road location on Thursday, February 22nd for the first time for a sectional sofa set. We were greeted at the door by Jennifer who was professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. She is the only good asset for this store. There was another associate, Matt who was with another customer and chose to abruptly approach myself, my mother and Jennifer to abruptly say "excuse me" as if projecting some authority -- to walk through where we were standing with another customer instead of walking around us. This is a spacious furniture store and confused as to why Matt and his customer did not walk around us. The lack of common sense and courtesy is appalling.
I revisited the Manassas Sudley Road location on Friday, February 23rd to express my concerns with a manager, Susan. Upon entering, I was not greeted and approached two women sitting up front and ask for a manager (one of whom was Susan). I proceeded to walk Susan to back of store where I could better explain the display of rude behavior that was experienced on Thursday. However, this location is full of unprofessionalism and deplorable attitudes. The male associates were mostly sitting around; one of which was staring at me sideways as if to wonder why I was even in store, and continued his clownish behavior while I was speaking with the manager. It seems as if the stance is that if "you don't look like you can afford to purchase" then staff is not going to be bothered. I was coming from the gym, running errands and decided to make the stop because that's what was convenient for me. But why should that matter? Last time I checked, I have a Master's degree, professional designation and own a home; and definitely have the means to afford anything in that store. Read moreSpent over $4000 through Acima. The delivery was good arrived early then what the scheduled time was. Lady told us we can divide our payments up withib the 4 months to pay it off with out interest, which was incorrect information when I called todau. Ordered a lamp to go with my sofa set and dining room table, saw her when claudis entered it read the order back to me to comfirm, when they came to deliver it did not come. Called and left a message for cluadia, did ot get a call back. When I did speak with her she said noone gave me the message. When asked she said shw didnt know what happended, but remembered everything. Spoke with manager he said he could do a discount. Lamp was $249 with $100 off, so I excepted that. He did mention i needed to speak with Acima. Spoke with the manager from Acima she didnt see the lamp being added at first, but then a few minutes later she saw it. She calls me back with the manager and she proceeds to say the lamp was not added and she didnt tell me that. I said why would I text the manager that it was adddd and I spoke with you if everything wasnt taking care of. Miscommunication they will tell you something and then switch it up. If it wasnt for my husband still wanting the lamp and the furniture I would have told them to come pick all of it.
