Zen Nails And Spa — Local services in Manassas

I came here on Labor Day 9/7/20. I just want to say outstanding service, just wow! The place is very beautiful as well, and the pedicure seats are very great quality. I’ve been to many salons where the seat shook way too hard that you’d have to turn it off in order for them to do your toes.. The lady who did my toes was very sweet, she offered me a drink(they offer soda and water by the way), continued to start a conversation with me, and she took great care of my nails as well as gently placing my feet lol. I went in with really high expectations from the good reviews but was sadly disappointed. It may have been because I came in late but that doesn’t excuse I subpar job on a paying customer. I got dip powder with extensions and my nails are chunky, lumpy and overall not pleasing. While I did ask for slightly square nails I ended up with nails that looked like melted gum pieces. Along with all this my fingers were cut in multiple places to the point were they bled and were painful. I also seem to be developing a infection on the cuts because they are red and puffy. I am having them removed just one day after getting them which is such a waste of money but I simply can’t keep them on. The only reason I am not giving them one star is because they were able to reschedule my appointment and my nail technician did stay late to finish. I saw allot of mixed reviews but went in with my brothers. We went right as they opened and they got all 3 of us pedicures, made sure the guys were comfortable and took care of them just as much as they did me. It was clean because it did just open. Terry did my pedi and mani, successfully gutted my ingrown toenails and made my feet feel so much better. He did first use the wrong color on my toes but was quick to offer a fix. My mani I wanted dip on my natural nail but somehow he convinced me to get tips even though I was against it. I told him I trust him make my nails cute for my vaca next week. Also I've only ever gotten round nails so I got a new shape I've never had and I look so dainty and cute 😅😍

The one bad review I agree with is the gaslight to get gel I felt like I didn't have much of a choice for my toes but it was more awkward to say no than to just roll with it.
