Cat Alley Mural — Local services in Manchester

Some descriptions called it "graffiti" in the past. It is now considered 🎨 artwork and is recommended to visit by articles I have read about it. It is cat 😸 🎨 paintings in a cartoon style. All are different from each other. I'm glad to see 🙈 it hasn't actually been a victim of graffiti. After reading "Monuments Men" and visiting galleries, I find someone trying to brighten up a city 🏙️ a pleasure. Open 24 hours. Located on Dean Avenue and Elm Street and next to Bookery/Cat Alley Cafe. I read that the alley leads to the library. There are articles online about the history and there is even a YouTube video. Update: February 2023; I remember reading in the Hippo 🦛 Press Newspaper that Cat 🐈 Alley's 🎨 artwork was going to be changed and there was even a ceremony. I finally had a chance to visit and I was impressed 👍! There is an electric ⚡ sign at the Elm Street end 🔚. If you are in the area, stop by and see what you think 🤔! Update: April 2023; Google Maps replaced my Cat Alley Google Maps entry with Cat Alley Cafe! My experience with the cafe was good. I had a coffee ☕ with a muffin and both were good. Friendly service. I enjoyed the window view 🪟 of the street. WiFi available. Sandwiches 🥪 and multiple beverage options available. Update: October 2023; Pumpkin scone tasted okay but was dry. The Cat Alley Cafe was always one of my favorite cafes, but lately the staff has been rude and the quality of the drinks has gone down quite significantly. I used to go every week but have honestly stopped going because every time I go the staff is mean and the coffee is really not good. There needs to be some kind of standard on how the drinks are made because they're made differently every time and the coffee is way too expensive to be this...

Barista with glasses was very nasty and awful with my gf and I. We treated her with nothing but kindness and respect.

I kindly inquired about a military discount, and she snapped "nothing particularly-" and rolled her eyes at me.

This barista then came to our table and slammed our coffee down!

But, she never asked our name, and never called our name when the order was up.
