Absolutely the worst shopping experience ever....and not just once! The owner of the store has to be one of the rudest woman I have ever met in my life, not to mention the least professional business owner I have EVER come across (and I do my fair share of shopping!) I don't understand how she stays in business if she treats all her customers the same way (and it's not just me, 3 of my friends have had identical experiences, and according to Yelp and other review sites, multiple other people as well!) She is not only rude to her customers, she is belittling and horrificly insulting to her poor young employees (and even to whom I assume was her husband). She is also very shady in her ethics, and will price according to how she rates you as a customer (when I inquired about an item and determined it was too much, another customers asked about the same item a few minutes later and got it almost half price! This being due to the fact that most items are not marked so that she can charge what she wants at will). The store is thoroughly disorganized and cluttered, and unless she is watching you with her disgruntled demeanor and evil eye like the shoplifter she believes you may be (and even will ask to check your bags and accuse you of "Intent" to shoplift), she will leave you standing at the counter while she chit chats on the phone or forgets you are there and runs out back not to be seen again for lengths of time. The third time I gave this shop a chance, she started ringing me up and in the middle of the transaction, without a word at all, just walked away leaving me high and dry for over 10 minutes while she chatted with another couple that obviously wanted to make a purchase larger than mine! Since my purchase seemed so insignificant, I left it on the counter and walked out and will never return again. Don't ever place a special order with this scatterbrained shop owner as you will not see it for months and will have to keep reminding her to order it for you! I refuse to shop someplace that I depart thoroughly frustrated, insulted and infuriated at the way I am treated like a third-rate citizen, and I will shop the AMISH BARN in Concord going forward as they will go out of their way to keep their...

It's been awhile since I've been to this shop and I liked it. However, I've driven 1/2 hour twice now to shop and both times it's been closed. The 1st time, I went by the website hours and found winter hours listed on the door, even though it is now mid April. The 2nd time, I went by the hours posted on the door. The sign in the window said they're open, but the door was locked. I even called the shop before I drove there to not waste time and gas, but I got the answering machine that said the hrs are 11a-3p.
