I purchased a couch from this HomeGoods about a week ago and didn’t have a vehicle to transport it so I opted to use their (out-sourced) delivery option. Upon arrival, the sofa I had ordered was visibly damaged/torn.
I reached out to HomeGoods immediately, unsure of how this could get resolved as I knew the sofa left HomeGoods in good condition and was ultimately damaged by the delivery company. I was lucky to have gotten connected with (Manager) Erin who has provided me with nothing short of an amazing customer service experience. I explained what had happened and Erin not only listened to my frustrations but also expressed empathy to my situation (not knowing if they would be able to locate a replacement sofa as HomeGoods merchandise is generally sporadic) Erin asked that I send her photos and she would pass them along to their district manager and contact me soon with what they came up with for a solution. In the meantime, Erin said she would call around to other HomeGoods store to see if they had the sofa in stock. I will be honest, I wasn’t holding my breath that they would be able to find one because, again, inventory can be sporadic.
Sure enough, the next day Erin called me with a couple options and informed me that she was actually able to track down the sofa at a store in a neighboring suburb! I was truly impressed by Erin’s follow up and the fact that she went out of her way to actually call these stores and locate a new sofa for me. I will be returning to HomeGoods time and time again as they stick by their merchandise and their word - as was proven by Erin. I cannot say enough good things....
Read moreFirst time inside- my mom wanted a gift card for her birthday. I’ve always heard wonderful things.
I thought the store was wonderful! So many adorable, cute, unique items. I walked through every department and wanted to buy so many items.
Reasonably priced items for what seemed like high quality products. Some items were not priced comparably to same product different design/concept - I’d think wow great price for that, then uh not for that price with its neighbor item, then oh yeah wonderful for that one neighbor. For example, the journals or cards or pillows.
I thought the shelves were a bit disorganized and messy. However the items on the shelves were so cute I’d still check them out.
Clean floors, well lit and no visible trash.
Cashier seemed to have a chip on his shoulder and gave the vibes that I was inconveniencing. - I didn’t put you on that role and you’re paid to have a warmer attitude ya know? Minnesotans small talk, if a customer mentions that the store is amazing and its their first experience excitedly ..maybe don’t dismissive ? No one forces you to work there, if you can’t promote the welfare of your employers business you’re...
Read moreI visited this store for the first time before Christmas and literally spent almost $200.00 in holiday's food. I loved my first visit and I thought to give it another try the day after Christmas for some Holidays sales. The store was a mess...clearly Christmas items were supposed to be 50% off, some items were marked down and some items were still marked at full price. The store also had merchandise not on sale in the same area together with the clearance items. We picked up some holiday glasses and they were tagged at full price, when we went to the register , the manager stated they were not on sale. I showed her where it clearly stated clearance.. she slammed her hand on the top shelf and stated top shelf.. I replied where does it say top shelf? Then, again she stated obviously annoyed and rudely that the glasses were not in clearance. I then stated that it was fine and I ended up leaving and buying nothing! If this manager would have explained nicely that the glasses were not on sale I would have been happy to pay full price for it.. but as soon as she slammed that hand on the shelf she lost me. I will not return...
