When in the process of purchasing the loveseat everything was great, but now that we are trying to get the loveseat I feel we are not being communicated with and have been getting wrong information. When we purchased the loveseat we were told delivery was to be expected in mid January early February, so when the time was coming close and hadn't heard anything I decided to call for a status update and they told me that it looks like my order will ship on February 8 so I should expect a phone call around Valentine's day to set up a delivery time... that was January 21st.... February 15th rolls around had not heard anything so I called for another status update and now they told me not to expect my loveseat until May with no reason why my order was delayed another 3 month just was told it was not their fault but they could refund me my delivery fee and that is all they could do..... I feel like since they got the money for the purchase they don't care about making sure the customer is happy or even feel like they need to communicate with the customer about their purchase, I understand thing have been more challenging and slow due to COVID but why do they feel it is not okay to have to call and update their customers about there order status when they all but double the delivery time. Read moreOur shopping of the couch and chairs was good. We found something we liked and started to order. We picked the one of 2 color options. Then was told 2 months for the leather to come in and another 2 for assembling. They apologized and said this wasn't normal. 4-5 weeks in then covid hits we loose our income and go to cancel order. Keep im mind leather isn't even here yet. They say they are going to keep our downpayment but will refund what we overpaid everything but the 30% so they want to keep our$2,300.00. Give or take. Then say we will give you 0% for 3 years to help. I call 2 months later to check status. Well its gonna be another 2 months because of covid. They have been shut down. Ok I understand its a political scam they couldn't avoid. Then I asked so how do I assure we get the o%. Well sir you will have to apply for it when the furniture gets here. So if we don't get approved we are out our downpayment. All of this could have been avoided in the beginning before the products even shipped. Im glad we should have the money to pay for these IF they do show up. But what about the people who can't afford it. LAZYBOY YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. Read moreFor our new house, we purchased 15 pieces of furniture and 3 area rugs. Our sales rep Colin was very polite and our designer, Ellie was superb.
The 3 rating is because we ordered a couch that we don’t like at all and let Lazy Boy and our sales rep know about it when they sent us a survey a month later. It’s the Makenna Duo Reclining Sofa which is battery operated. It was fine when we tried it at the store, but are extremely unhappy with it. When we told our sales rep he said there’s nothing he can do about it. I guess a dissatisfied customer doesn’t mean too much.
We also purchased 2 Noveau Chairs and the stain scratched off and the fabric was pilly. So they did authorize us to come and pick out different material and we could pick out two different chairs if we wanted (and so we did). So that was great (but I think we deserved that). They also waived the extra amount we owed on these chairs since they cost more...but again, I think they owed us that.
