My sister got accused of shoplifting after elderly employee followed us around the store for the entirety of our browsing. She was stopped on our way out and the bag she had from the store next door was searched, and after finding nothing, we were allowed to go. Honestly it was super rude and very unprofessional. Our family has spent hundreds of dollars on this silly little overpriced store. Make sure you know what you’re talking about before you accuse someone of stealing from your store because it definitely ruined our experience here. Perhaps senile eyes aren’t to be trusted in discerning this type of thing. I don’t recommend if you don’t want to be followed around by snooty Karen employees who think they’re saving the day. I was recently here with my mom and sisters and was followed by some old lady who worked here because I had a bag from the store next door in my hand which I had purchased a toy and some treats for my dog from. I could tell she was following me but whenever I looked at her she would quickly look away and unnecessarily rearrange something on a shelf close by. Right before leaving I was approached by the manager and asked if “I was going to buy the things in the bag” to which I opened the bag and showed her the toy, treats and the receipt from the store next door. Honestly pathetic. If you’re going to come in here with a bag from a different store, be careful, the employees here are bored, and like to follow you very obviously. First of all, the store is beautiful and the workers are so welcoming! We had a great time shopping and even purchased a Needo stress toy, to be specific the Ice Cube. We opened it as soon as we purchased it and went next door to DSW for more shopping and BOOM, it popped open and broke. We made our way back to Patina and didn't even have to explain ourself as they automatically apologized and told us to grab a new one. A huge shoutout to Kayla for making our day by being the sweetest and super understanding. She even went out of her way to examine the broken toy and continued to assure us that it was okay and that it wasn't our fault. Great experience and we'll definitely be...
