Wawa — Restaurant in Margate

I want to commend your employee at the store 2000 N. State Rd, 7 Margate, FL. her name is KARIEN PARIS in the beverage section. I am a customer everyday, she is always so pleasant, with a beautiful smile and lovely personality, she is always willing to take the time to help all the customers when requested of her. KARIEN is even more than a team player who goes that extra mile and is so hard working with strict focus on her tasks. I've noticed her assisting at the front as a cashier, and in the sandwich area. Which made this employee even more exceptional to me is that she also assisted in the coffee section which is very busy while an employee was on leave for a few months, taking on her own job and the coffee bar is NOT an easy task, I could understand why they are separate jobs. KARIEN ensured that the coffee was always refilled and hot, also kept the coffee bar so clean. She is the best employee just her job in the beverage area alone is hectic when busy and she handled her job flawlessly along with other tasks given to her. I would hope your company has a recognition program or rewards for a valued employee who is a real asset to WAWA. Please take the time to commend her on her performance with a salary increase these are employees that make customers want to come back and keep the business in good standing. Believe me I am a 62 yr. old and know an excellent employee when I see one, not many people are willing to work hard these days they just want a check. KARIEN is a real gem that seems like she enjoys her position at WAWA. This is the type of person that can be considered for future training in management. I came in for my first visit. I have been seeing everyone at school carrying their Wawa cups in the morning. I am familiar with Wawa from visiting my daughter in Orlando. Near UCF you will have a Wawa and a Racetrac right across the street from each other. The primary reason for my visit was to get gas. I like that you can enter the Wawa from 441 and Copans road. Even though there are a lot of pumps almost everyone was taken. I found one and was pleased to see regular was priced at 2.43 a gallon. By comparison the Mobil that is the nearest gas station to my house and only a mile from here is selling regular gas at $2.65 a gallon. While filling up at the pump i heard orders of food being called. Not what I normally hear at a gas station.

Once a got my gas I came inside for a look. A lot of people were at the outside tables eating. The inside looked like everyone from town was in there. Wawa sells a lo of the same things you would find at every other gas station but they also have a deli where they make sandwiches and a coffee bar. You can order your food on a screen. If it wasn't so crowded I might have tried grabbing lunch but the line was so long. I'll have to try out their food...

I'm at the wawa rite now 7/3/23 at 12:52pm. All I asked for is Garlic aioli on it and cut in 4 pcs. Simple request. I do it in EVERY wawa I go to. Never a problem. Today at this wawa I spoke to a young man(I think he's fairly new) and asked him if he could do what I mentioned with the garlic aioli and cut in 4 pcs.. He replied "we can't do that". "We can't cut it in 4 pcs". I said that all the other wawas do it with no problem. Then i said , if you can, "thank you" if not that's fine. Well, the garlic aioli wasn't put on the quesadilla, it was forgotten and passed to me at the end separately. I think they need a little more training. As far as everything else it was good.
