Who's on first? Don't ask these guys, they don't know.
If you are a rude, pushy, privileged type of person, this is the store for you. If you're courteous, respectful or have even a shred of care for other human beings, shop elsewhere!!!
My partner and I went in our first time, waited about ten minutes for someone to offer help, then when the gentleman did greet us, he walked away to help someone else before we could tell him what we wanted. Then before coming back to help us, the same gentleman helped a pushy customer who was in line behind us, and sold him the last one of the exact product we wanted... when the gentleman finally asked if he could get us anything, and I responded that we had actually been waiting to buy one of the products he just sold, not only did he have no remorse, he tried to sell us something twice as expensive! We will never go back here again to just be treated like our money isn't any good.
Edit dated 3/24/22:
I thought I'd give this shop a second chance, come in when they're slow. I want to like this shop, I do. But heaven help you if you don't know exactly what you want on his time. I walked in, saw him talking with who I believed initially to be a customer. So I patiently browsed his pokemon card selection while waiting for him to finish with the customer ahead of me. He did ask me once if I had questions, but I was still making decisions. Lo and behold, this fake customer was actually their security guard. By the time I realized this, I had to wait for the employee to finish conversations with the guard and another gentleman who walked in and didn't even spend any money. He just came in to chat from the looks of it. Eventually, i did get help, but this shops perspective on customer service just keeps...
Read moreWho's on First while not the biggest card store around, is certainly one of if not the best around. Try here BEFORE you visit Mugu or Wandering Havok. You'll get better prices and free smiles.
Devin is very personable and tries to make everyone feel welcome and happy. Sometimes it may take a few minuted to get your turn to talk with him, but it's because he wants everyone to have a personal experience and won't stop talking to someone just because another customer is in a hurry. I have spent many hours here just chatting, or playing games with random strangers.
The selection at first seems small, but much of the good stuff is stored away for those who know to ask. He has a pretty good selection of MTG, Pokemon and Yugio as well as a smattering of other random games. Devin is also one of the only places you can still find a legitimate sports card store. He has a huge selection of memorabilia from local teams, and sometimes has, or often can get stuff from teams outside the region.
Try this store before you go to some of the other stores in the area. His prices are by far the best as he figures tax into the cost. If he doesn't have it, he will sometime even help you locate what you are looking for simply because he wants you to have a great...
