I am not an Airbnb person, and staying at this place only confirmed why I don't like Airbnb's. Immediately after opening the front door, I wanted to run back to my rental car and find the nearest Marriott hotel. I also wanted to break down in tears because this place smelled like an old building that hadn't been touched in years. There were absolutely no signs of life in this place. You think Hawaii, right off the beach, nice weather, someone has been here. I had a rough night; we got in so late that there was absolutely nothing I could do to make myself comfortable for the next four days. I grabbed my blanket from the plane and fell asleep, praying that I wouldn't wake up with cellulitis all over my body. The next morning, we got ourselves together and went shopping. The first aisle I hit was the cleaning aisle—Clorox, Tide, bleach, Glade plug-ins, Mr. Clean unstoppable multisurface cleaner, and candles. When I entered that condo, I went to work. First thing I hit was that bathroom; it reeked of urine. Then I started with the floors, on my hands and knees. On to the kitchen; I wiped the floors, all the countertops, and the refrigerator. I'll post a Pic of the paper towel when I wipe the fridge. I took out six glasses, four plates, four forks, knives, and soaked them in dish detergent and bleach. Those were the only dishes we used during our stay. I washed four towels and all the bedding. This place is not being adequately cleaned. The cleaning people are doing the bare minimum. Also, I had to plunge the bathroom sink because it kept getting clogged. Forgot one more detail: we all know that a king-size bed consists of two twin-size box springs and a king-size mattress, not here. Their king-size mattress consists of two twin-size mattresses, so if you're with your spouse, don't sleep close, you'll start sinking in the middle. Maybe you guys can handle it, but I couldn't. The pros were that the property sits right off the beach, so taking an early morning stroll was magnificent. Take cleaning supplies and candles, and you will survive. Or pay extra to stay at a 4 to 5-star hotel that sits off the water. Marriott Wailea Beach Resort is very nice. Just my recommendation: I went to a Luau there and...

Stayed there twice ;once for a month and once for 10 weeks.I’d go back tomorrow! If you have a problem …maintenance is there in a jiffy . It overlooks the ocean and looking out you can see part of Maui plus Lanaii and Kahoolawe plus below is a well kept lawn with palm trees and flowers and a small sandy beach to walk til you drop! The pool is very small and children are in short supply..better for people who want a restful vacation with a slower lifestyle. We’ve done all the tourist sights and at our age less is mo betta! They say Maui is for the newly wed or nearly dead..at 75 and 80 we take it slow! If you need more action and a huge pool…Maui Sunset is a better fit.Both...

Direct oceanfront condo complex, all rooms have a full, unobstructed, straight-on ocean view. No peaking around the corner or off to the side l to catch it. Nice lush lawn with palm trees is the only thing between you and the magnificent South Pacific ocean. Sunsets are right there on your lanai. It's an older complex but well maintained, and many of the units have been completely remodeled and include air conditioning. Elevator, washer/dryer in the unit, floor to ceiling glass along the entire ocean facing side of your unit.
