We rented this unit (Kanai A Nalu 317) through Knowles Maui two weeks ago for our family summer vacation. Our family of 5 could not have been more comfortable to stay here and it was a truly dreamy experience being SO CLOSE to the beach with a full 180 view of the ocean right off of our private lanai!! We literally were greeted with the beach beauty the minute we woke up — and fell asleep each night lulled by the ocean waves just outside.
We would be SO FORTUNATE to get to come back and rent this exact unit again someday because it is in a dreamy location with the view, a central location for touring West/North Maui and Kahului to the north, and Kihei/Wailea shores and towns to the south. The trade winds kept us cool all day — and we literally didn’t get rained on one time in 11 days — it was a perfect weather trip for us end of May/first part of June.
And I have to give props to Knowles Maui for outfitting this unit to the NINES — our family was so blessed by their thoughtful and generous touches throughout our unit. There were gorgeous new linens and towels, that graced a very comfy King bed, two twin beds, and brand new memory foam pull-out couch/bed. The kitchen is fully updated and is stocked with very helpful appliances like a blender, rice cooker, wine bottle opener and high-end cooking knives and pot and pan set. I could go on and on about all they have stocked this kitchen with — but after staying in a dozen other AirBnBs — this is one of the most conveniently and generously outfitted working kitchens we’ve ever rented! First time we haven’t had to run out and buy spices, Tupperware, foil, or a single kitchen gadget — important— bc we cook 2 of our 3 family meals per day in a rental on vacation.
Lastly — I just have to throw out that KM left every Hawaii guide and resource in the unit for us — so we were equipped to go out and adventure every single day. There were also 5 snorkel sets, beach chairs, a cooler and beach towels in the unit upon our arrival — saving us hundreds of dollars in purchasing those necessities as well. Wow!!!
Thank you Knowles Maui for providing such a perfect unit for our family vacation and we really hope to get to come back to rent this unit again some...
Read moreI have stayed in Kihei other times when visiting Maui. This time we stayed in Maalaea Bay at Kana ‘I A Nalu unit 412. We loved this unit and the location was convenient for all that we wanted to see and do. The finishes are terrific. It’s a well kept condo project quiet & out of the way. Kihei has more hustle bustle so this felt more like a romantic retreat. It’s great for families as well. The Knowles thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and easy. We cooked amazing fish dinners often during our stay. Whales were visible off the Lanai. We listen to the waves each night thru our screen door. Each living area has zoned air conditioning for comfort. They have on island assistance if your unit needs anything. Stay with the Knowles & you will be pampered. Pack light, all you need is your swim suit, a change of clothes and some flip flops to have an amazing stay. Everything else is right here in the unit at your finger tips. It’s the way I would stock and furnish my condo if I came to Maui for several months at a...
Read moreWe stayed at the beautifully decorated Kana’i A Nula 412. I found it on Airbnb but would book directly with this owner and be willing to stay at any of their properties. We have been to Maui several times and prefer the sleepiness of Kauai a little better. My daughter graduated from college and this trip was her gift and her choice so I found myself looking for accommodations on Maui. First the condo checked the essential boxes of two bedrooms, on the beach and a pool. I didn’t know about the location but I am so glad we stayed here. It is so central to everything and we explored the whole island so easily. But that isn’t the best part. I had no idea what a gift sugar beach is. If you want quiet walks on the beach, this is your place. So happy to be away from the rat race if Wailea and Lahaina. The owners provided a book with suggested activities and dining. One day we did only things from the book and discovered new favorite things like the cliff jumping at Kapalua. Owners are not on site but the on-site...
