Menehune Shores Condominium — Local services in Maui

My family stayed at Menehune Shores Condominium Dec 16-23 2018. When we got to our condo it was not prepared for us. The sheets were dirty, the shower and bathrooms were not cleaned and towels smelled like they were not washed. I had to go to the store and buy my own sheets and towels because they were unusable. They smelled like sweat and completely unacceptable and gross. The patio furniture was also not clean, we had to wash it ourselves before using it. The dirty carpet we couldn't walk barefoot on. The amount of money we paid, we expected the condo to be cleaned and ready for our use. After a long flight, we were greeted to a dirty condo that we had to clean ourselves and buy our own supplies.

The property manager told us we should of done something when we arrived but according to their policy it was not an option. We wouldn't get our money back if we decided to move to a different unit.We arrived on Sunday evening and the office was closed. Monday morning we went and bought our own sheets and towels. The condition was not acceptable at all...

Room 311 Great balcony views. We enjoyed our stay, however Most of the 1 Bd.Rm 1 Bath apartment was in need of updating. The sleeper sofa was horrible. Bedroom queen bed was very comfortable. They did have nice counter tops and tile floor in kitchen. And new tile in bathroom. The Mini split air conditioning is only in living room . There is a ceiling fan in bedroom and there was a box type fan. It did help at night to have the fans in bedroom. The air conditioning needs some extensive cleaning excessively dirty. I took pictures of all the details... I just want you to be aware of condition. Washer needs cleaning... but did work good. Dryer great. We did not complain to management about apartment conditions. We just settled in and made it our home for 10 nights. I had hoped to send owner pictures and our comments. Not to be just a complainer but hopefully they could attend to some of...

The condo was nice and the view was okay. We specifically had a view of the tennis courts and shuffleboard. But to our left off the lanai there was the private beach and pool. If you plan on visiting I recommend trying to book a room with a nice view onlooking the ocean or pool. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Only issue would be the sound of traffic. (Especially at night) but since our room was closed to the road, you have to expect some noise. However the sound of the waves crashing at night really makes up for it. We are staying in a different place this year but it would be worth our while to visit again. Also, it does have a private beach for only residents (visiting or not) of the condo to enjoy. However it isn’t very spacious so we ended going down to kamole beach park most of our trips or down to makena beach. Definitely recommend and...
