Such a beautiful place to explore and visit. Lots of shops and beautiful scenery, plus the old historic Banyan tree! Now hearing about the wildfires I don't even want to imagine... So devestating. Totally awful and I'm praying for Maui and it's residents. Praying for the businesses, the properties (including the one we stay at), the houses, people's jobs that were affected due to loss of business, the beautiful landscapes that make Hawaii so special and breathtaking. Nice place to hangout for an evening. This is right next to ocean. A local told me this used to be a main road before the new one got built. Lots of shops and restaurants to satisfy your soul. Don't miss the shaved ice creams. There are few ocean activities such as Sunset cruise, cocktail cruise starting from this location. The other end has a huge awesome banyan tree you don't want to miss. Overall it's a great place to hang around with family...

I spent 3 days wandering up and down this street. The art galleries are amazing. I spent quite a bit a time on each. There are good food options, a historical Museum by the giant banyan tree, the marina is right there where the boats take people out for snorkeling or sunset cruises, and there are many interesting other shops to explore.
