Haleakava — Restaurant in Maui

Love love love Haleakava. Big shoutout to both Aaron and Justin for the amazing service, welcoming presence and vibes. Also shoutout to other friends I met throughout the night for making my experience here so incredible. Been looking for a Polynesian owned and operated family business to support and be in community with in Maui and I found it here at Haleakava. Easily one of my favorite experiences in Maui, and in my opinion some of the best Kava you'll find on the island (tried another spot in Paia and I'd put Haleakava above it forsure). I'll definitely be back, and plan to catch one of their live music/performances (however no dig on the music playing though cause Aaron was killin' it on the AUX!) Thank you...

This is dope, yo! No wait, it's Kava😎! Must stop by. Wade, the bartender, is also a woodworker (the dude built the bar! And local artists created the ocean on the floor, and decked out the walls!!!). I needed something strong to calm my nervous system, and the Fiji half bowl did the trick. One sip and I knew I had a winner. It's a dry taste, but I like those kinds of things. If you need something sweeter, ask for a different recommendation. ✌️

This was always our first stop when visiting front street. The drink of this place are delicious and they have a great variety. There are a ton of different flavors of Kava to choose from. Take a Kava to go then be on your way walking around the town. There are games and music at this place. They are also open late so if your looking for a place to hangout come here.
