If you are new to the area, this is a main spot a lot of different boat tours leave from. The harbor itself is nothing fancy but also is not bad. There are public restrooms on site and there is a good mixture of shops and restaurants close by on front street. If you have ten minutes before going on your tour you can easily run to an ABC store and get some drinks, snacks and/or sunblock. It's usually not super busy but every now and then a cruise ship with be tendering to this harbor which can increase the foot traffic significantly but even on those days, it isn't overwhelmed. Just be aware that there is not on site parking. You will need to either park on Front street itself, or a parking lot on one of the side streets or the parking garage by Lahaina Shores. Even though there isn't a parking lot, you can still drive up to the harbor so if you have someone who can't walk far you can easily let them out close to the harbor. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis lovely little Lahaina Harbor features an ancient tree that has the wisdom of the ages. And by wisdom, I mean a bunch of idiots carved their names on it. There were a few chickens and other birds chillin' over here when my wife and I visited. It's a nice scene to chill at while you wait for your boat to come in to the Harbor. We also got to eat a fresh coconut from some kid who was trying to sell them to stupid tourists who are willing to pay (us). He chipped it with a machete live....
