Aldis in Mauldin is a huge fail in having any type of customer concern or appreciation. -5 stars. Customers are more like unpaid employees. In order to shop there we must tolerate carts that stick and may or may not take or release the necessary quarter, unpack, lift and rearrange, by having to remove shiping wraps from pallets, walk inside coolers to roll out racks to reach necessary products, reposition empty boxes to reach stored items behind. Cashiers throw items in the carts in a frenzied haphassarred manner, destroying Containers, squishing baked goods and bruising and smashing produce. Even if the items are arrange on the checkout belt. I have even seen an elderly person explain why they needed heavier items to remain in the cart they had. To be speedy the cashier said they would move them from shopping cart to checkout cart. Just to store the heavy items underneath the cart where the elderly person was not able to remove them. Isles are often blocked by shipping carts, teams of employees chitchatting or the checkout line being backed up to the cooler area all making the store hard to walk through with a cart much less try to shop. It appears the only concerns Aldis has is making money and rushing customers through checkout. Frankly, I'm tired of working there in order to shop there! I'm tired of paying for damaged items, and produce that isn't good for more than a day because of the...
Read moreIt’s fine. The prices are great but there’s this ONE blonde lady with a bob there who whenever she’s checking out beware. She will put your bags beneath all of your groceries then keep stacking other ppl’s groceries while you’re struggling to get yours out of the cart, and just stare at you judging without doing anything while you’re bagging. EVERYONE ELSE there has always waited or at the very least set up the bag for me, and I’ll bag my own groceries happily. But this one blonde bob lady just does everything in her power it seems to make it difficult for you. Legit everyone else there is phenomenal except this one cashier. And it’s not just a one time thing, this has happened EVERY SINGLE TIME I get cashed out by her. Cant stand it. If I see her cashiering I’d rather go home and come back another day than...
Read moreIt's OK. I was surprised at the prices they charged for Name Brand items they do have. Items were higher than the name brand Grocery Stores. Which Aldi's usually don't have a lot of name brands. Of course prices have gone up. If I'm going to pay as much for off brand Grocery items. I would go to the Name Brand Grocery Stores And pick up items that I know are better tasting and quality is far better than Aldi's. They are about to reach the price for produce that higher quality stores carry. I use to go to Aldi's for all my produce, but will have to watch the prices now. I had rather pay five cents more and get good quality and name brand items. Watch the prices people because you can go up or down the road and purchase your groceries...
