First and last time coming here. Food was extremely dry and not just my food. Ordered my girl shrimp tacos. She said they were basically flavorless. I got 3 different meat tacos and not one stood out from the other. The taco shell ( Corn tortilla ) was overpowering. That’s what I tasted the absolute most. Meat was flavorless. And I guess they put little bits of pineapple through their tacos ?? Ordered 2 elotes.. tasted like I was eating lime on a stick. 1 order of tres leches… it was terrible. It was not tres leches at all. One side of it ( my girl called it the back side ) was completely frozen. The front side was so dry I could make a moister cake. The best thing about our entire meal ? The beans and rice you have to order as a side. If I do come back I’ll probably just order beans and rice and call it a day. For 70$ I wish there was a Time Machine. Respectfully, not being from South Carolina I guess I have been around the block when it comes to food. This here just was not it..
Chuy’s out here ( Tex Mex )...
Read moreI visited this location for the first time this past Weds. The location has a very nice looking bar, the seating area is decent, and out door seating area is nice if you enjoy outdoor dinning. I really like the menu. It doesn't 300 plus different combinations like most Mexican restaurants do. Yes, the prices are a little higher then neighboring Mexican restaurants, but the taste and quality of food is makes up for it. The lunch menu that is valid until 3PM is very reasonably priced for those lunch hunters. My fiancé is very picky on how her chicken is cooked. This place hit the nail on the head. Perfectly cooked. Will visit again. Thanks.
5 years later it is sad to say how bad things have gotten here. The food is basic, not as tasty like the years before. The prices are a rip off. 2 burritos cost almost $40?! The service is basic. We ordered a small cheese which will run you like $7, but had to ask for chips? Come now. Over priced for the basic quality and quantity food, much better competition in the area....
Read moreViva Villa Mexican Grill exceeded all my expectations! The salmon tacos were absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked salmon that melted in my mouth. The chipotle sauce they added had just the right amount of heat, enhancing the flavor without overpowering the dish. It was a great combination that I highly recommend for anyone visiting.
One of the highlights of my visit was their creative take on margaritas. I ordered one, and it came topped with a gummy shark and a sour strip of candy, which added a fun and playful element to the drink. The margarita itself was cool and refreshing, perfectly balancing the sweetness of the candy with the tang of lime.
The overall experience at Viva Villa was fantastic, from the delicious food to the unique drinks. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were friendly, making it an enjoyable visit. Whether you're a taco lover or just looking for a great place to unwind with a fun drink, this spot is worth...
