Previously, in Jan 2022, I rated this store with 5 stars but the change of personnel operating this store has really gone downhill on their Ethics. Last month I was having issues with my Google Pixel phone with battery life, I went in to see if they had batteries and was told that would not fix the issue as my phone was old. So, I bought an iPhone 13 mini because they didn't have the regular iPhone in stock and I was told I had 30 days to return if I didn't like it. I didn't care for the mini so I returned it and said I'll just deal with my Pixel for now. I was then told my phone would no longer be supported by Verizon after the end of the month because it was 3G. I wasn't going to be pushed into buying another phone right away, I wanted to do some research so I left with my Pixel. Later I called Verizon customer service to check if my phone was going to be obsolete and was told it's 4G and was fine. Read moreI visited the Mcminnville location at around 5pm PST on July 19 and was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism that Kim whom I believe to be the store manager displayed toward an employee during my visit. I didn't catch the employees name but I'm assuming it was the end of her shift because she told Kim she was leaving. Kim then VERY rudely accused the other girl of leaving early to which the girl responded that she was scheduled off at 5 so wasn't in fact leaving early. Kim made a very snide comment about the girls reliability. The girl didn't respond to this but just walked away. Which in my opinion was the right way to handle the situation. I'm sorry but I don't feel that Kim addressing this while I was in the store was appropriate in any way and DEFINITELY will not shop there again if she is there. Read moreI'm very glad I went in to this store to get my new phone. I was welcomed by Sam as soon as I walked in, and he took very good care of me while I was there. He was kind, patient, answered all my questions (and if he didn't know the answer, he immediately found it), and was professional, yet casual (such a great balance - I love Oregon!). He walked me through everything at a comfortable pace: the pricing, options, set up of the new phone, etc. He didn't pressure me at any point during my visit. And for someone who's relatively new to the store and this line of work, I dare say he is already a model employee, based on my experience. I'm pleased with my new phone and feel confident and supported going forward should I have any issues or questions with it. I highly recommend you go in and see Sam at the Victra store if you're looking for a new phone....
