This place was one of the worst dinning experiences my wife and I have ever had. First theres a hand written note stating they are under staffed and will return open at 8:10 pm. Like you know down to the minute? While the whole restaurant was on break we witnessed employees lounging and leaning on tables chatting with others while they refused to serve even the drive through. There were 2 employees who seemed to stay busy and clean while the others were just hanging out as if at a friend's party. And thats where it got worse. Once the manager came in the back/side entrance and decided they could reopen the music of theyre pick im guessing was new age rap and was not at a restaurant level, I witnessed one of them who appeared to be dancing if that's what you want to call it and then turning the music up so high that other customers looked confused and I couldn't even hear my wife right next to me. Then he proceeds to turn the music down a little still not restaurant level, then help a few more customers and just as I mentioned that it was finally settling down he turns it up so high that people walking by on the sidewalk were able to hear and a couple turned and walked out. That's finally when I stood up and was just about to say something when the manager turned it down a couple notches as he danced in the back. I turned to an employee and asked if the volume levels were normal and not bothering her when she explained "yes it's a little bit too loud but we get used to it" wtf? Poor poor management 😢 will never...
Read moreJust spent $33.35 for three burrito bowls and a chips and queso. The queso had chunks of chicken in it AND my daughter is a vegetarian! Why there were chunks of chicken in our queso speaks volumes to the care they take for quality control and food safety for that matter.
A few other great things. Our chips were filled with crumbs and we added our own sour cream to one of our bowls because they didn’t do it at the store.
This was our first experience at Chipotle Mac and we are practically Chipotle pros. This was very disappointing.
Oh, and I am not the type to go to the internet when I’ve got a grievance but they wouldn’t answer a phone call. At all. It literally rang and rang and rang.
They want our business and we put trust that they will get the order right so we don’t have to take apart our food at the pick up order window (because I hate when people do that) but they aren’t doing their job.
In closing, when you operate a place like this in Mac, you should understand that people like us, come from a ways away, so when we get home and find chicken in our cheese dip, it’s a bit concerning as we have to simply lose money and go without.
I’ll stick to other franchises...
Read moreTo start — The guy in the order picked lane called me sir / laughed hysterically / never apologized / and then asked what the name on the order was - when there was only 1 order waiting (sooo - obviously mine)
I set it to be ready at 8:30, got there at 8:35. When I returned home (13 minutes drive at most), my burrito wasn’t even remotely warm. The grilled vegetables were very burned and I had to pick them all out (mostly onion, not much peppers), the amount of meat given was laughable for $12, I asked for extra sour cream and there was hardly any, some of my chips were stale, and the queso was inedible - the worst flavor - didn’t taste like queso at all. I will probably never eat at Chipotle ever again - I’ve really enjoyed the Sherwood and Tigard locations but this is my second bad experience in McMinnville so I won’t be back.
For $30 I have plenty of other consistent quality options - with kind and professional staff.
I feel bad for the owner of this location as I know they’re probably doing their best but can’t find good employees - sorry, I hope things get...
