BoxLunch — Local services in Mentor

Honestly, I hate giving negative feedback. When I say hate it, truly I hate being negative but... if I could give a negative star review I would. The customer service at the Mentor location is way less than a one star review. I received a puzzle as a gift at Christmas. Now, since it was 3000 pieces I finally made time to actually start it. Upon opening the puzzle, I found multiple pieces that were blank and just cardboard. I called the store, they told me to bring it in. Cool.. I go to the store and they say sorry, without a receipt we cant do anything. Now keep in mind, they knew it was a gift. So I asked just for store credit, still no. So I asked for the District Manager number, they gave me the wrong number. I had to go back and ask for the correct number and they laughed that they wrote the wrong one the first time. This place needs new staff that actually know what customers service is and Still no response from the district manager either.. if it's even the right...

Don’t bother over priced however I decided to try go go because they “donate money” (for tax purposes) went in stuffies were buy one get one free. However at check out the girl told us oh that’s only till 1pm. I said well the sign is still up written in very fine print it said until one PM. Girls response said sorry. Not my problem. I just left the items and walked away. This wasn’t even a Black Friday type of sale. One your responsibility to remove signage promptly. Don’t go here it’s way...

I agree with the previous review saying the employees seemed miserable, The store was very nice and clean and had a good selection of clothing, my only complaint is that the Store Manager, Chris, was rude to me when I had a mishap with the corporate side of BoxLunch and there was miscommunication from this store and the corporate side, and instead of him hearing my side, he assumed the worst and thought I was lying, which I would've appreciated...
